The current violence is a strategy that started with TFG when he used the pandemic to drastically divide our country. The extremists promoting the violence revel in the shootings that kill people of color, young and old alike. They really want to purge our population and the refusal of the TFG administration to implement a united plan at the onset of the pandemic was the first major step in the divide and conquer strategy. As long as it was primarily poor people, old people, and people of color it was to their advantage to purge that part of the population since they were disposable or irrelevant. And that's a fact. In my sociology (i.e., social problems/ criminology) classes way back when, the main statement was "poverty breeds crime". I do believe the stimulus checks ppl received postponed or curtailed 'some' of the mass shootings. It certainly had to make some difference. When ppl are able to reward themselves and their children and pay bills, they are happier, period. Denmark is known to have "the happiest ppl in the world" and they have a set social income for all their ppl. They were that happy ppl for a running 15 years or more, not sure if they still are.

First they promise to make everything great again. Maybe to last 1000 years. They play with your fears and insecurities. You allow them to do so because "they speak the truth". Finally there is someone who takes care of all the dirty work, makes real what you never dared to think out loud. Finally you are officially allowed to let out your hate, rage and jealousy. He is your alibi. You are happy and enthusiastic since finally there is a father figure who apparently takes care of you. All you have to do is be his cheerleader, follow him like an innocent child again taken by the hand. You fail to hear the words like "wall", "fences"and "enemy". This complicated world is getting nicely tidied up for you. Clean, white and great again. Until you find out that it is all a dirty job, lies told by an idiot who would even be selling his own grandmother. Then you find out it is too late. Being and feeling so very great and important means always at the cost of others. To put others down is making him feel great. Defaming is part of the game. Seductive words are followed by criminal acts against human dignity, riots or even worse war. You are suddenly trapped. You just wanted to be great again and have your peace. Now you feel so small and ashamed. Shame and remorse that he is not able to feel. Since in his brain and soul there are fences and walls that allow no feelings of empathy. His soul is empty and therefore incessantly hungry. But his ever hunger for admiration and the yearn for power cannot be satisfied. All input falls through this empty shell like water through a drain. When you learn it the hard way and actually suffer from the evil he and his enablers have brought only because you have let them, when you realize that you never mattered to him but were only abused like a tool, a thing, you then wished you had never trusted him. You were blind even though a warning voice in you said and repeated: Stop. You did not trust yourself. You listened to his alternative facts like children to fairy-tales. You were naive to believe his flattering words. You forget that you echoed them. Listen to your heart and trust your intuition. Do not run to follow him - run away. Stop supporting him. Stop him. Be alert. Be responsible. He can't. Since instead of a father figure you see an emotionally 3 year old abandoned child throwing tantrums. No one ever really put him in his barriers. You can.
