The failure to act by those surrounding an individual with narcissistic personality disorder is as predictable as the behaviours of the individual themselves. The behaviours and oppressive presence of the individual serve to extend pathology to those who surround them, and those who should act seem inexplicably paralysed to the outside world.

@@SEATTLEPRO That's a tricky one. Cult members often do not want to be deprogrammed, obviously. Some do. I've heard of Scientologists who got out, still believed in it and wanted help, so it is possible.

One thing which is imperative is ensuring is that this cannot ever happen again. It seems that the 25th amendment is not sufficient. Clearly unitary theory, the constitution, article 2 , requiring that a president MUST concede and further CANNOT pardon himself. As things are, surely he has too much power and this must be curttailed.

Thank you for the video. I would like to point out that evangelicalism plays a big role in the psychology of people like Pence and McEnany. These people see Trump as an imperfect vessel for the will of God. For these people God chose Trump. It's Good vs Evil. Logic is good for us, supposedly sane people, to understand each other, but it does not apply to trumpers and Trump's sycophants. IMHO
