Used to work in a Volvo shop in Woodstock Georgia we did a bunch of V8 240 Volvo it's a relatively easy shop swap and the rear ends can actually handle a fair amount of HP. We also swapped V8 and other cars like 280zs Basically we would ask that you bring us your 240 Volvo and a complete donor car so we would have any bracketry or anything like that.. There's a company out of Texas called "jags that run" if they're still in business that makes an installation kit motor mounts etc I'm not sure if they're still in business though like I said we used to fabricate all ours.
