Hello, excellent information / detail on this intake idea. Questions if I may, will the Dorman LS2 work with cathedral ports? And I assume it will accept OEM fuel rails, injectors etc? Thanks.

Yes, I believe the LS2 heads were cathedral port; but my 243 PRC heads definitely are. I also reused my LS1 fuel rail and injectors. I later swapped to Fast 36lb injectors when I got to the dyno.

My dorman LS2 has a gap at the bottom of the throttle body opening on the bottom did you fill that in?

Yeah they can use a good but of Port matching and polishing!

Can this intake be used on a 5.3 truck motor with a drive by cable? Thanks for the video

Yes, I believe it will work on the 5.3 motor, and it will also accept a drive by cable TB.

Next time try to scribe your ports square. Try using a square along the floor of the ports and scribe your line down the runner walls. Better straight than any other wavy way.

How did you clean it out completely?? Just wash it with water?

Yes. I blew it out with compressed air, and then rinsed it with the water hose several times.
