Lots of heads get ported like that, especially for boost. They have such a large what's known as a "speed bump" in them, and if you grind it out, it gets into the rocker mount. As you said, a little sealer. I'm sure you have seen that on some factory big block stuff that has been "reshaped"

Yes boost fixes everything. In the most case you could send the pistons to Line to Line coating.

Love your video's, I bought a LM7 November to rebuild and boost it for 400whp. My dream is to have a 6.0l block to build but here in South Africa it is so hard to get a LS to start with but if you have any 6.0l blocks that you can ship to South Africa let me know 😂🤙🏻
