Barn Find 1965 Corvette With a 396 Big Block! Mid Year Coupe Corvette Day 2 Straight Out Of The 70s!

This 65 Corvette was dug out of a barn and returned back to the road! It runs and drives great, 396 BBC ended up not being original but still a 396/375 engine. We love the 70s Day 2 look so we plan to keep it that way for a while! Be sure to stay tuned for more videos of this car

I'll be honest if I had a classic Chevy that was in good shape I just couldn't mess with it anymore I would definitely rather you guys have it. I've seen too many people beg for some of the old stuff I had and then just let it go to waste like I was I want a good home for vehicle that needs to be preserved and used.

I think if you are going to keep it as a beater that's cool, but I would put back the lights and front grille back and get rid of those spaghetti headers, I always hated them... If it was mine, I would do a frame off and restore it as close as possible. Nice find.

Jaime Harrington what sort of front end did you price out at the time? I ask because, you are right that it can be a very pricey proposition, but the good news is that you've got a lot of options too. And some of them are nowhere near as bad as the first price you got.

Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!!!!!!!!
