It is only being used in the SR1MP as a regular service cartridge although there are some SMG adaptions that until now, not have surfaced in wide usage according to the public domain.

Such a cool helmet, especially with the neck guard. I can’t imagine absorbing the entire energy can be good for the wearer though. Deflecting the bullet feels like it should be preferable.

Gotta trade out protectiveness with weight. These newer helmets have just slightly less protection, but weigh less than say the K6-3 or Altyn. Plus you get a better FOV with the clear visor. Everything is a trade off when designing gear/guns.
