You guys create some really well crafted videos that combine well captured images, with cleverly matched soundtracked music, and really useful insights/tips. This is a particular city of interest to us, and so this has been such a perfect introduction and a city guide.

Wow guys, what a great video. I visited Lucca for the first time in October 2013. I saw the bushes and flowers that spelled out LUCCA in piazza Napoleone and it was love at first sight. This city is a gem and along with a few special people, Lucca has captured my heart forever. ❤ Thank you for your thorough tour of my favorite place in the world.

Anton and Bella, thank you very much for your video about Lucca! It has been the most informative video I have seen :) Since you are open to questions, I would like to ask one: My husband and I will be doing a daytrip from Florence to Lucca and Pisa. I understand that Lucca needs a day on its own, but we don't have the time to split the two cities into 2 days. So what would you recommend - going first to Lucca and then taking the train to Pisa or the reverse? It would be our first time in both locations. The trip is in the beginning of May, so the day is long (I know it's far in the future, but I'm very excited and planning the itenarary from now 😂). Thank you very much! ❤

Hi Inna, Thank you for watching and we're happy to hear you found this video so informative. 🙂 To provide you with some considerations for your day trip from Florence to Pisa & Lucca here is what we think is best way to maximise your time exploring both cities in one day: Yes Lucca really deserves a day, and if you have seen our Pisa video kzbin.info/www/bejne/paTWnJJrgcypqNk you will see that there is so much more to Pisa than just the monument area too, and it also deserves a full day visit. (We definitely consider you also watch this video if you haven't already.) However, given you only have one day, we would suggest going to Pisa first and catch the earliest train from Florence to Pisa San Rossore Station (closest stop to the monuments area). This will ensure you beat all the crowds that start arriving from 10am onwards. It is much more relaxing to explore Pisa when there aren't thousands of other visitors doing the same at the same time. You can then make your way on foot to Pisa Centrale (very pretty relaxing walk) on the other side of town and catch a train to Lucca and enjoy the afternoon and evening there before getting the train back to Florence. The last train from Lucca to Firenze SMN, depending on the day leaves around 2230 so you will have had a chance to enjoy several hours in both Lucca and Pisa by the time you return to Florence. Hope this helps a little with your future plans. Let us know if we can help you with anything else. Thanks again. ❤
