I work in commercial HVAC and I want to be able to stick this to the metal decking and hang a winch on it. Does anybody know if this would be possible?

Wonder how it will be picking up appliances with. I imagine the thinner steel will be harder to pick up

Possibly if you had one on each side with a clamping mechanism that worked off the weight of whatever was being lifted (almost like a scissor action). I think if you lifted from the top the thin metal would bow and just peel itself off the magnet.

vevor has worse quality control than harborfreight does, also their customer service is ok but the wait time for anything that needs replacing or parts missing ends up being weeks.

I have a few things from them. This magnet, the rotary weld table and the tire bead breaker. No issues so far with those tools. Fort the prices, I plan on trying a few other items for sure.
