Richard Sharp They were awesome! Sparks literally flying with those two. I could really get fond of God Johnson. He had an element of kindness that was irresistible too. Loved what he said to Dr Linda when she bowed. Called her his beautiful child and said shaking his hand was fine bows not needed. I have to admit this show is first time I really felt some anger at Lucifer for way he refused to give his father a chance. Oh well... maybe later. God Johnson is awesome!

Johanne Dillworth I too felt Lucifer's hatred was extreme. After just saving that lady he could have hugged God Johnson for that deed then alert him to a body blow. God Johnson showed us that Lucifer is still far away from achieving a welcome in the Silver City. If God Johnson had actually really been Lucifer's dad, I think Lucifer was well on his way to getting over a lot of his anger, based upon his reaction to the apology and God's praise while they were about to be murdered by Santa (I can't believe I just typed that sentence). But once Luci realized God Johnson wasn't really his dad, he just reverted to his unfortunate default setting of blind fury, probably exacerbated by feeling that somehow he'd been duped and humiliated once again. But for all his talk of hatred and revenge, his face when his "parents" were dancing told a very different story....

Dr. Linda commented on if Lucifer wanted revenge. I think, for a moment, he actually got to see his parents (though not really Dad) as the loving couple he remembers at the beginning. Its hard for people from dysfunctional families to form bonds with others. How can he form a bond with Chloe if he's never seen what it's supposed to be like. Who ever 'borrowed' Johnson's body was probably a benevolent being and trying to heal physical and emotional wounds.

No, but you were close. God, in the old testament, was vengeful and hot tempered in the early days of time. After Lucifer carried out the rebellion and fight for the throne of heaven and fell into the pit, God was apparently having none of it when the Goddess of all creation was asking God to forgive. So God sent her to Hell with Lucifer and all the demons, even though she did her best to get Lucifer to see that she was responsible for his miserable Reign in Hell while God originally wanted to destroy Lucifer completely.
