By far the best integrated adverts of any channel i watch. There's a history channel where the creator plays a 1700s British Army officer character in his ads which is very funny to me. But LML's Rhaegar character is such a beautiful mix of lovingly poking fun at some of grrm's characterisation and lore-informed humour that is highly rewarding for both the show enjoyer and the long-term book nerds. 13:30 Let's not forget Craster vaulting the table when the defeated NW is demanding he give up the hams. It's really a terrifying chapter but it stands out for me here as one of those asoiaf moments where chaos erupts and sometimes unintentionally funny things happen as a result. The image of Craster jumping on the table, getting immediately stabbed and falling over onto a wounded guy is such a moment. Horrible and traumatizing but very nearly slapstick at the same time

"Are you at Illyrio's house?"😂 Edit: thanks for including excerpts from cast interviews. I usually skip that sort of thing, so I'm very happy to hear the cast is familiar with the book. I remember this old interview with the GoT cast, where they were all asked if they had read the series. I believe only Kit had read them all at that point, and I remember being a little bummed to hear so many of the cast hadn't read them at all. Luckily the show writing at that point was still heavily adapted directly from the books so the performances reflected that. As such, i'm extremely optimistic for HOTD S2, especially seeing the younger cast getting excited from reading the book. It's always great to see young people reading more, but in this context, it is simply epic!

OK - I'm sold. When the algorithm first put this channel on my radar, to be honest I didn't think it was for me. There are so many KZbin channels out there and sometimes we judge on how a person presents themselves, their basic sense of humour, a glimpse of how legit the content creator is with their knowledge of the source material. So, at first glance, I just wasn't that interested. Anyway, because I often fall asleep with videos playing I ended up seeing a lot more (and the algorithm kept giving me more) and your content has won me over. My ONLY NITPICK would be that Baela doesn’t look 75% white. She looks black or at most, half black. For a black person like me, it stands out quite a bit but maybe for white audiences it’s not noticeable which is fine. It’s not too distracting bc I just tell myself that Laena carried some strong genetics from Coryls & I move on. I’m just hoping that they only picked this actress bc her acting was just TOO GOOD to pass up. If that’s the case, I’ll forgive the casting people. But yeah…when a person is 75% white, they actually look it & most usually can’t even tell that they’re black (like Baby Archie, for instance). They have a bit more curls or melanin than usual, sure, but not darker skin or kinky/afro hair like this actress. Again, NOT a deal breaker or something that ruins the show for me. Hollywood casting directors almost always get this wrong so I’m used to it. When they _should_ cast a black dark-skinned actress (like to play in the Nina Simone biopic, for example), they use mixed-race or light skinned women instead. But then when they actually have justification to be colorist in casting 😂 or a good excuse to choose a light-skinned actress with soft curls, they don’t! Kinda drives me mad but I still love the show regardless.

Genetics are weird, I have a friend who’s mostly white but looks darker skinned (completely black). I just don’t see the issue to be fair, people come out differently all the time. I don't understand how no one is talking about a fact that in the main series (and books) whitewalkers are not common knowledge, they are myths and stories for little children, something that grown man are only laughing about when mentioned, and they are always referred as something that isn't seen in thousands of years, and now all of a sudden Jase and Cregan will just stumble upon them, and that will make Cregan seal the pact, and than only 150 years later no one will know about the whitewalkers what so ever. Even Ned in the start of the story is thinking that deserter is crazy for mentioning whitewalkers. I suppose his father and Brandon could have know about this and take that secret to the grave, but all that looks to me like a big hole in the story.
