As a former Yu-Gi-Oh player, this deck is so fun and good! I can't stand the Celebi meta and all of the decks based on coin tosses. I've been using weezing/arbok/whigg's deck and I think this one has the chance to be even better.

Wow, I've been playing a similar poison deck but totally dismissed the new salandit line. Having just the one salandit as a fallback it super interesting.

i've actually done a crazy thing - i took out Sabrina... Boards are always so full right now, celibi decks have full boards and are jumping in and out with celibi, mewtwo has also full board with all these draws and mews. I put giovanii because there are some breakpoints which helps, espesially in early game weezing can get a kill and after that all you need is to kill the EX with your big attacker.

I changed one of the Koffing for the regular Koffing with 20 dps, cause I don't know how, but many times I end up with the 2 Koffing in hand in the first turns lol, making the "Divide" skill useless (I lost the count of games I had this problem). Also changed the Sabrina for 1 X-Speed. So far, so good after making that change, it worked more consistently for me. Also, this deck is the most fun I had for now in this game!

min 5:52 you could have poisoned mewtwo with weezing, then apply leaf to remove it, evolve it to scolipede and burst it in the same turn.

What is your opinion on New Koffing? I think i still prefer old Koffing to chip the opponent a bit in case I dont find Weezing inmediately

oh, new koffing can thin down the deck so that we can search our combo pieces easier. so I prefer new koffing. but the old one is great when facing a deck like mewtwo that has weakness against dark type pokemon

Ive been playing this deck a lot, so far I like Mew EX or Tauros over Salandit. That 5th basic is hard to decide on. Sometimes I consider Chatot, but I think the deck has too many cards in hand to reliably use Chatot. Every game where I dont get Scolipede only i think about it though

My biggest problem with two leafs is that you can't leaf and koga in the same turn. It comes up frequently enough that you have a Scolipede in the active and you want to retreat it so that your weezing can poison the enemy and then Koga the weezing to bring the scolipede back out. Having X speed in that situation is pretty vital because your scolipede only needs 2 energy on it instead of 3. A 1-1 split has worked well for me.

I run 2 leaf 1 x speed, I don't think Sabrina is that vital in this. Being able to bounce around a lot is more important imo

Actually this is low energy cost for muk.... But more evolve.. So there is plus and minus here.. But that leaf is such a great card..

Weezing with poison and Ralts's weakness to dark type is a one shot on Ralts, so retreating him for Salandit was a waste of energy. Also, Scolipede + poison is a one shot on Mewtwo ex (70 base + 50 if poisoned + 20 weakness + 10 poison) and you could have evolved into Scolipede and put the second energy onto it in the first match to end it fast (5:45). Lots of misplays today, you should take a day off to catch a break my man 🫶🏻

I've been playing with muk and scolipede, and scolipede feels way smoother for the pivoting. Grimer is the main problem with muk for me, as it has a three retreat cost, then needs 3 energy to do anything if you evolve it (energy lost if you use koga to pull it back), so any time you're forced to play it in the active slot at the start feels super bad. I much prefer saving koga for weezing and being able to swap out of venipede without hurting my energy setup on scolipede.
