Have a great time,,and saw on Jimmy Dales video today lucores going to meet up and take his motor back to Uncle Bobs machine shop,SRC/Hoskinsons have definitely brought some light to other folks in racing and auto parts,and Lucore does not just mechanicals but some reguard you as top alighnment in Buckeye nation,and it shows the cars your getting .

Car did great! The heat was rough for sure but overall pretty dang happy with how the lil AMX did. It cruises at highway+ speeds VERY well now!

Very very true there were no doubt some GORGEOUS machines that showed up for this event. That black Javelin... 🤤 Mine is certainly not a "most collectors" kind of car, but I DO drive the wheels off of it and put more miles in a year on it than most people do in a decade 😉

@@LucoreAuto Fact is your AMX is 3 times the car of ANY new car you can buy. But there is no reason not to freshen it up a might, I mean geeeeis !. I drive a 1970 daily bomber to, but for god sake, I did atleast stoot a nice couple of coats of Enamel (30 bucks worth of Rustolem) with gross hardener mixed & reduced on it out of a $25.00 Harbor Freight gun!. came out all T&A to! Also, if you want to cut the temp in the cockpit 20 degrees, shoot it all gloss white, that will drop the temp inside the car 20 degrees like right NOW ! If it's 90 degrees in the car, it will be 70! in white. TRUE ! I get a kickout of the guys that shoot their cars in BLACK hot rod primer, them cry about it's SO HOT in the car ! Well DUHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhh, there is no hotter color on the planet then flat BLACK !

Did you get that motor put down in the amx also and sucks when the speedometer doesn't work but just use the GPS everywhere you go and you will have your speed lol good to see the amx getting some much needed upgrades

Was there any red, white and blue AMX Donahue edition cars there? I knew a guy who lived in Wellington Ohio that used to bring it into shop I worked at I Oberlin to get tires and alignment. Test drove it, 401 was incredibly strong and fast.
