Lucy Browne's Famous Wedding Dress - Townend

This video documents some of the processes that Townend and the National Trust have gone through to clean and re-display Lucy Browne's silk wedding dress from 1832. This is naturally a very fragile piece and has had some natural damage over the years from light and atmospheric pollutants. It's been cleaned and re-displayed in a way that will give the dress the best possible support and environment for the future.
