Blackarachnia Lavigne worst thing about it- he kept attempting to do an East London accent as though that’s anywhere close to Kiwi. He also actually straight up asked “is that English for urinal?” Because how she said it- New Zealand, she actually told him and he still got it wrong! Of all late night hosts, he has the least charisma and his interviewing skills (here & with other clips) are just piss poor!!

I'm sure she couldn't give a definitive answer due to the time this was released. Had she said "Yes", the network probably would have done some damage control and denied her answer or played it off as a joke. The network didn't want to XWP to perceived as a 'lesbian' show. Had she said "No", it would have upset a whole mess of fans who wanted to see Xena and Gabrielle together. Lucy has gone on to confirm that Xena was in fact in a romantic relationship with her 'sidekick' Gabrielle. That was after some time had passed of course and representation was more mainstream.

Elektrikkiss I never said I didn't like her. In fact, I do. I used to be a hardcore Xena fan and I still enjoy the show today. But Lawless overacts and makes these really intense facial expressions that come across as funny rather than serious. As a comedienne she's brilliant, though.
