I believe the Shanghai Model 3 roof has a stronger tint but the windows are the same. It’s a personal thing when it comes to PPF/ceramic coating. Both our Tesla’s don’t have PPF and they still look great, especially my S after 6 years! Thanks for watching 😃👍

In my SR+ experience, at the 350kW chargers, highest speeds require arriving around 9-11% and waiting til 18-22% for it to ramp up. The car arrived with way too much charge for a speed test.

Nice show-around. I'm piqued by the red license plate ... 44 JAAG! In Chinese, 44 is really bad luck and in English JAAG is pretty slick, although this Model 3 is no Jag! You didn't measure the Frunk to bumper distance, like mine, his looks to have a rather large gap too. His panel fits looks the same as mine (M3LR, 2021, pickup March 4), so bit of a "batch" issue? But nothing as obvious as some of the older models have shown.

And if the new Boombox in the Toybox app available yet in Australia? I can't get Boombox to appear as an option. Thinking either not avail in AU and/or I have no external speaker. Wanna change horn to tram bell - ding ding!

Hey Vince! From the few times I have tried to video the pedestrian speaker, it doesn’t appear to be present. Because the Pedestrian Warning System is not a requirement in Australia, the current thinking is that they have not equipped any of the fleet here with them. I’m guessing they will retrofit them if/when that becomes a requirement in Australia. The Boombox is currently not an option in our cars (Mar 2021)

Didn't think Elon would differ the hardware per country. Was looking fwd to the ding ding horn and Jetson car sound for pedestrians. I hope it still has it and need a definitive answer from Tesla so I raised a service for it.

Hi @@LudicrousFeed , Tesla responded to my service request this morning with a call to explain that no PWS are installed for AU models. He believed that the wiring is there. I assume to install the speaker as after market, when / if AU laws make PWS mandatory. So no boombox for us. :( Not the result I wanted but pleased they responded quickly

Just taken delivery of my M3LR on 29/6. Comes with floor mats but not the Tesla road safety kit. Tesla says they stop including the safety kit since Q2 this year and replace with free floor mats.

What would be the range in a highway speed of 120km/h. I'm getting an M3LR AWD MiC in august in I'm worried that it's range is worse than the US version. It should be the same but the US one seems to have better charging and range based on the Internet

Electric cars in general tend to drop their range at higher speeds. The Shanghai LR uses the same battery chemistry as the Fremont cars (Jul 2021) so they should very similar and any difference is possibly negligible. Range also depends on individual driving style and efficiency
