The steak looked perfectly cooked. I think I will add garlic to the puree but it looks very good as it is. I love this recipe. Bravo.

looks great, not your usual complimentary ingredients that come with galbi, never ever seen yogurt or eggplant with galbi, but it sure does look tasty

We have an eggplant salad (salata de vinete) as part of our Romanian cuisine. It's a very popular salad in our country and we char it very well like that for the smokiness. It's not always charred, but that's the best kind I believe. Anyways we always take all the skin off, but u needs several eggplants to make a salad. it's the best.

Great Vid. Any idea which Korean restaurant he ate at in LA?
@sundarpichai9406 жыл бұрын
There are so many in Koreatown... I don't think that we could ever possibly guess so he'll have to tell us (which I'm sure he never will)

Yeah, you are right. I was hoping he might give us some direction. @ludobites can you help us out?!

Well, thats not a galbi steak, its a hanger steak.
@nychitts4 жыл бұрын
There is no such thing as galbi steak, the title says that because he uses a galbi style marinade...
@theblobfish96144 жыл бұрын
@@nychitts galbi cut traditionally is shortrib though
@nychitts4 жыл бұрын
@the blobfish I agree that was my original point galbi means rib/ribs in Korean so traditionally short ribs cut across the bone or flanken, he refers to it as galbi steak because he is using a similar marinade so it’s his play on the dish
