Merci Ludo! This omelette turned out to be delicious!!! This was my first time making your recipe and the texture of the eggs still need some work. Substituted with goat cheese and basil as it is what I had at home and it was so good! Will try your ingredients next time!

I’m rewatching this video as a very long time subscriber since before you barely had 500 subscribers and who is again rewatching these videos while we have the nationwide quarantine for the virus. It’s a good time to just enjoy rewatching French Cooking with Ludo. Because I’m all about learning and always using my skills. However in my attempt to rewatch all your videos I notice something with your playlist videos and would like to make a good recommendation. Ludo your videos are made by seasons and you only have 2 video playlist on the playlist. I’d like to recommend that someone on your team make and categories some new playlist of videos for each of your seasons for all the cooking videos. That would be helpful for many who would like to enjoy watching or rewatching your cooking videos by the season and as a complete list. It’s so much easier to just start a playlist and just watch each video after each other and more difficult to always have to flip back the KZbin page and select the next one in order. Can we please have a number of playlists for each season and for future seasons all categorize to make rewatching and catching up easier. The two current playlist on the channel I do not believe is a full list of all the seasons videos. It’s much harder to rewatch your videos in full having to click to start each video in order. Please have someone from your team look into improving the playlist, as it surely can improve the views on each video if we can watch some as a full season. Thanks, very long term subscriber.

"Fresh from the ass of the chicken." I suspect there will be a run on Boursin (or fromage frais (cream cheese) if not Boursin) from now until at least Valentine's day.

I speak no French, yet somehow I understand him better when he speaks French than when he speaks English. Jacques Pépin and Julia Child both have better demonstrations of this technique on KZbin™. He uses way too much cheese. Try it with just a tablespoon or so of fines herbes.
@doneyhon42279 жыл бұрын
***** lol, I'm french and I can say you one thing: he does not use too much cheese. The problem with you americans is that you copy the exact recipe. The title is "the perfect omelette"...only for him. Here there are no "french omelette". That thing does not exist. There are 65 millions types of omelettes for each taste. Think out of the box. I will give you a good example of that. My mother was born in France but she has algerian parents. She makes a type of omelette called "tchektchouka". Basically it's an omelette with an oriental taste. So you can do as you want.

heheh that idea of the Mother Recipe™ is hilarious, so very many "experts" dump on things when theyre too ignorant to know how ignorant they are. Food is all about regional specialities, to claim one is the only, is just pure stupidity. I remember eating spaghetti with cabbage and chicken hearts my italian grandmother made, imagine the "experts" ignorance on that one. XD

Obviously there is no such thing as the perpetual perfect omelet, the only perfect omelet is the one being made by the person demonstrating how to make it. BTW if your writing in english, the spelling is 'omelet' not 'omelette' lets not get pretentious now pretending we are french.
