Imran Khan London’s public transport network puts Leeds’ network to shame. The best we get bus wise assuming the roads are clear are buses every 10 minutes or so unless you live on or near one of the main arterial roads into the city and trains going each way are every half an hour or every hour from the suburbs into Leeds.

Also Automatic train operation helps, the computer knows exactly when to brake, and results between different trains are precise, with little variation which would usually be different driver techniques. Tho I wonder how the computers handle leaves on the line (ATO jubilee line) and braking, the picadilly line had an issue with it, i dont think it is ATO however.

They run trains every 100 seconds not every 90 Also, 36 trains an hour isn't actually that impressive, many lines can do it they just don't because the capacity isn't needed. 36 trains an hour is possible even without digital signalling, using technology from 1928

That city like most others is completely mental and the train network is barbaric it's overpriced and the service is disgusting the signal system is medieval so no line is ever to far from signal failure and the great unwashed are all jammed in like sardines the current bakerloo line trains are from the 1970s and desperately need replacing yet there is no plan to replace them for at least 2 years this city is inefficient and badly run things need to vastly improve but they won't things will just get worse
