WOW! 🤩. It’s like you took a big cauldron and thew in all the trash pieces, the torn bits and the discarded debris. Then you worked your magic with a few exaggerated stirs and some meaningful incantations (minus scorched timber, of course ) Then you reached in and pulled out a glowing ball of light. As you held it up, the masses oooohed and awwwwd at the sight of something so amazing they had no words to describe how fabulous it really is. 🤩😱😮🙀 As always, it’s off the charts! Hugs 🤗❤️

These 3 episodes have been amazingly interesting, funny, scary, puzzling... LOL, and any other different words you can come up with. BUT... it's all art and that's what we all love so I've truly enjoyed watching each one. Maybe the end result journal should be put into a Prize Vault - the vault with the diamonds and extreme valuables. :)

Louise, I'm not the only person I'm sure who would give, (I don't know what, practically anything) to spend a day hanging out with you in your workspace. I'm off to watch the washing machine experiment. Who in their right mind would think of doing that to a creation, only you, but what an idea! Loved it. And then you throw another one into a pot to boil it! Can't wait to watch that one either. Loved that too. The pages turned out so beautiful, so grunge. And the best thing is you are not afraid to do these things. It's all in the name of ' I want to know what would happen if.... You are a master of creativity, and entertainment. I enjoy every moment. The last 3 videos have been so entertaining! When you put the journal into the washing machine I was completely flabbergasted that anyone would try that! And I can't believe that machine still works. But your continuation on the path is sooooo impressive and the final results are stunning. What fun you gave us! I have loved this journal experiment series. It gives me the courage to try some of those “what if I” that I have floating in my head. My heart just broke for you when the delivery person out&out LIED!! I can feel your frustration about having an obligation to Tim and being the last to get the products, even when things go "normally", but for FedEx to make it so much worse by lying to you & then sending it all the way back!!!! OH MY GOD!!! I WOULD DEFINITELY FREAK MY FREAK ABOUT THAT!!! I had a spiritual teacher years ago that would say, "How do you know you are not supposed to have Scorched Timber today? Because you don't have it." Then I would want to slap that spiritual teacher and ask her if that means I was supposed to slap her today...and that it gave me much joy to fulfill her destiny for that moment! 🤭😈 The journal turned out amazing & this whole experiment was so much fun! My wife and I keep laughing with you every day! I hope you keep trying new things so that you can grow as an artist, but mostly so you will keep coming up against obstacles that end up making us all laugh! I'm sorry I am getting enjoyment out of your frustrations!😂😂 I also think it's funny you naturally swear in your mother language! I tried to translate it with CC, but it didn't know what you were saying either! 😂 You have no way of knowing how dark my life is at this time, but I want you to know you make me smile and even laugh every day! Luise I feel your frustrations with couriers. I have lived in the same house on the edge of our rural town and couriers tell their supervisor that my address is a bad address. I have argued with them that it is not a Bad address it is an incompetent driver. When I explain that I have lived at this address for 24 years. My husband has chased several couriers down in our small town and explained how to get to our home but courier drivers are often not long term employees. This project is fantastic your bravery paid off. Please don’t be upset with me that I am not as brave as you. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦

Oh Luise. Waiting on deliveries is frustrating when they say that the have tried to deliver. I think you did very well in not throwing your journal outside into the snow and jumping in it.. 😆 hold on that wouldn’t have been such a bad idea, another experiment to add to its incredible transformation. 24:08 Poor Luise 🤗 I know it’s so annoying having deliveries delayed & then not turn up. And that message grrrr! Sic Ranger onto them. As they must be a big client I’m sure they will sort it out quick smart - I suspect with the timing changes, the delivery driver was running way behind & decided to skip yours, not realising that their lie about being unable to deliver it would actually be captured on video. But I could be wrong. Maybe they had an accident or got caught in a traffic jam 🤷‍♀️ As we know, computer apps (even for business) don’t always have all the options we need to explain what happened. Of all videos I watched on JJ creation (and I watched a lot, I am a huge fan of this industry) this particular series is THE!! most interesting and enjoyable. You do know how to have fun, let me tell you! You mentioned undelivered distress product so many times in the video and with such passion that I am sure (at least I hope) from marketing standpoint you fulfilled your contractual obligations already. I personally will likely never forget the machine-washed and cooked junk journals and all the drama of waiting for Scorched Timber to be delivered. I’ll probably order Scorched Timber just because of this series, to be honest 😊.

Only you could create a beautiful grungy journal from a disastrous experiment. I absolutely love this one. Even the ink pad inside. 😂 I’ve had three different notices telling me my scorched timber will arrive by 10:00 pm or whatever time and day… this morning I got a message that it was delayed by snow! We’re in freaking Canada in January, of course we have snow! There are only 2691km between Columbus Ohio and Calgary, Alberta. I ordered it January 6. Ok I’ll stop my rant. I’m sure my sss order is happy in Mississauga, Ontario.

FEDEX is cheaper than UPS or Mail and they don’t care about the person waiting. I use to use Chewy to buy dog food and they just drop it off at the end of the driveway or in the street, complaining doesn’t help they don’t care. I quit buying from the company, they didn’t want to change either. I just use Amazon now or go to Walmart. Hope you get it soon. I thought this was the best videos I’ve seen lately, I laughed out loud! I applaud you for experimenting no one should be stuck in their comfort zone, it’s art be free! I❤

Fed Ex messed up royally (grrr) but by example you did what you always tell us to do - make do with what you have. Dear Luise, I absolutely LOVE this journal! It always amazes me how you can take what might appear to be something that was a fail and turn it into something that is so beautiful! I was holding my breath waiting for this video, to see how everything turned out. This journal is definitely a victory for you! I was feeling your pain with the dealings with Fed Ex. We have had several similar incidents. We live way out in the country and our roads are not the best in winter. I suspect several deliveries were not really attempted....just an excuse. Grrrr! Oh well, we just carry on with a new plan. I always love your color choices. You have an amazing eye for that. Loving this adventurous journal! (I think we are all waiting for our Scorched Timber! )

Thanks so much for posting your GORGEOUS journal results! I don't think we could've waited. This was an amazing roller coaster ride - leaving me gasping and laughing! Please update us when you've added dangles, etc. What if you could stiffen a flower from one of your doillies and attach it with a bulb pin to the cool binding that survived the washing machine??

We have the same problem here in England, the delivery person states nobody home, when in reality the lazy sods can't be bothered to deliver in the first place, or they'll leave it in a safe place, which is nowhere near where you live. I feel you frustration.

The end result turned out beautiful, Luise. I loved watching this series. I admire your courage to experiment and I hope to develop more and more courage to do the same. And customer service is no longer what it used to be, just saying. You can't even get someone on the phone to express your grievances. Very frustrating.

I absolutely love the results of this washing machine/cooked journal. It is totally amazing! I like the string for the closure. I was thinking use the string tied around the button and on the end that wraps around tie a large key so you can just tuck it in the wrapped string to keep it shut. Your work is fabulous…what will you come up with next🤓

This has the been the most wicked cool grungy journal cover! There’s so much history with this journal and you haven’t even worked on the gorgeous inside pages. I’m going to go back and read the comments from the washing machine incident. So glad to hear that you didn’t kill the washing machine. I think I will always remember this crazy experience from the beginning to the end of this amazing journal. This of course will remind me to cook my journal in a pot! Needn’t have the cleanup you did, and I’m sure Alan would scream if he came into our basement and saw what you did! He’d forgive me, of course, but he’d never let me forget it.

I love to see you create 😊 Here in the Netherlands, I've experienced the same problem with delivering packages. The DHL did the same. We were at home, but they said the couldn't deliver. I find it easier to watch the shorter videos by the way. Thank you for sharing your process ❤
