I met North like a year and a half ago when she came to my work for a field trip. She was in my tour group. The ‘tude is pretty typical for her, from what I saw. It’s also pretty normal for that school. It’s the only time I’ve heard third graders call each other little bitches and the teachers and chaperones do nothing to address it. They had also all perfected weaponized incompetence - we gave them an activity to do and they were all whining that “they couldn’t do iiiiit” and “it’s too haaaaard.” I finally got them to do it by telling them I’d had younger kids complete the activity with no problem (which was true), because none of them wanted to have second graders show them up. Rich kids are a different breed, man.

@@LukeAlexander Kim was there as well, as was whichever sister also has a kid the same age. What was wild for me was: this was the time that Kanye was in full stalker mode and refusing to let Kim divorce him, and also when Kim made a whole statement about how she was so careful about what her kids were exposed to and who they talked to, so that they had no idea what Kanye was doing. But she and the bodyguard DID NOT come on the tour with us. She just vanished and left North with me. She was actually fortunate that North was in my group, because I didn’t recognize her or know she was in my group until after the tour was over, so I acted normal and didn’t say “Hey, North, so your dad’s a raging sociopath narcissist, huh?” But she had no way of knowing that I didn’t recognize North. She made that statement about controlling North’s access to pop culture shortly afterward and I was like “uh, bullshit you do!”

Just a thought about "Why does Kim tell everyone how much she's working does she want praise for it or something" I definitely think I could have something to do with when she was first getting notoriety and the first couple seasons of Keeping Up, they were known for "being famous for nothing". There was that one interview where the lady was like "you guys aren't singers, dancers, you have no talent, blah blah" so I feel like it's super possible that feeling has always stuck with Kim and she wants to be known as someone who is a BUSINESS woman not someone who is famous for being a reality TV star. So she constantly wants to talk about how busy she is (cause she IS incredibly busy) or how hard she works because she wants to change the public perspective of who she is. Just my two cents!

Hi everyone! What Kourtney was talking about is epigenetics and stress-induced epigenetic changes, particularly to genes that effect the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis. It persists into future generations, negatively impacting the capacity of latter generations to adapt to stress. One of the first research subjects was the way the negative effects of genocide and slavery was passed down to current generations of jews, black folks, etc. It's a pretty well researched phenomenon.

God, you made me die laughing when you said you couldn't wait to be 25, to have your prefrontal cortex developed 😂. I love that you call Kim out on her ish, like they seem to be trying so hard to show everyone how hard she works. Bullish. She has assistants, nannies, drivers, private jets. A fitting where you just stand there and hair and makeup is other people doing the work. The acting thing is a joke and an insult to all the talented actors who struggle to even get an audition. I'm so sick of mainstream giving all these opportunities to Kim just because of her Instagram following. I'm so happy for Kourtney. She's proof of how healing can help you attract good love into your life. I've been saying for years that the Kardashian Jenner dynamic is a dysfunctional and toxic one. It's genuinely so hard to feel empathetic for Kim when you actively watch her make choices she didn't have to make. She chose to make these commitments, then turns around, and acts like she has no control over her life and schedule. You have the freedom to say no, Kim. You have the WEALTH to say no and not work but choose not to because you're money hungry and fear being irrelevant despite already being irrelevant. It's actually super irritating to watch her complain about her busy "work" schedule when her job is to influence people. My empathy for Kim ran out after she willingly destroyed a piece of fashion history by wearing Marilyn's custom dress despite having a custom dupe.
