I'm from Parun Nuristan, I have the best childhood memories. It was much more of pain and priceless moments. My parents were in Kabul and we feared they were dead during the civil war until they returned. I would go to the top of a cliff and sit there watch the horizon for hours, them great feelings.

Btw the taliban said that they will change the security to normal police.. but they want to secure the whole afghanistan before switching.. later you will see less guns in the cities.. it just a normal military appraoch after any gov change... specially , a total change.. any vacum is dangerous .. specially in a country that been in war for 40 years.. and guns are everywhere.. so yeah they need the heavy guns for security pupose.. not to opress anyone
