Snowballs takes me back to Christmas in my childhood 😊. Feeling really grown up at our Christmas Day party because I was allowed to share a small bottle of (premixed) snowball with my Grandma. Aww memories.

It’s not even my Nana’s and Aunt and uncles house and I’m going to miss that house too. Luke as a mom I’m sending you lots of love from Long Island New York. My daughter and I just got back from a wonderful first time London, Edinburgh and Liverpool vacation on November 4th. I miss the UK already. I wish I could have been there for Christmas time. We were actually lucky to have afternoon tea at the Dome in Edinburgh and they were already decorated for Christmas. It was spectacular in there. But what I wanted to say is between you and Ewan it would not be Christmas anymore without your cozy, sweet festive vlogs.

oh Luke 😢 I hope you feel better. my husband used to get hives like that due to an allergy… could be something you’ve eaten, a product you’re using or even your detergent. his ended up being a spice of all things from a chain restaurant we would visit while we were on vaccation. keep a log of when, where and what you may have injested, you will figure this out ❤

Luke, next time at your primary doctors ask them to check your thyroid. Skin issues for me were so puzzling and I went to a dermatologist and did every test. Finally he referred me to a thyroid doctor because skin issues he said usually mean thyroid. It does not hurt to get it ruled out. I had horrible things going on with skin issues and yes a swollen eye like this. Awww Luke, your Nana will always be in your heart forever. You are such a lovely person.

@@debbiesheldon5086 That is exactly what I mean. For me the primary always said it is okay, But the skin issues were worsening. I went to a allergist to be tested for allergies. He said nothing was coming up. He referred me to a Thyroid doctor it was discovered I had Hashimoto's. The primary Dr. can check and he then may decide to have a person go to a endocrinologist. My issues were on my face every morning and then disappear by 9 am.

When my grandmother sold the family home after my papa died, I went into every room to say goodbye and ask the house to look after the new family like "she" did ours. All of us also said goodbye to the mean old lady ghost who terrorized us on the second floor! Memories can never be taken away from you dear heart.

Oh bless you. have a very special aunt and uncle who are very elderly now. They lived in a lovely house that backed onto Abbey rd studios I spent so much time there all very exciting London times.They had to downsize and sell up as they were getting on.I was devasted so sad like you so many memories.They only moved around the corner into a lovely flat which is perfect for them.Oh and I also love the waitrose weekend paper😁

Lovely Vlog I really love watching you and Mr Carrington. Ludlow is beautiful growing up as a child we used to go and stay with my great aunt and uncle in Ludlow they lived in a lovely house with tudor style beams on the front loved going to visit. If your ever in Telford, Shropshire way visit The Hundred House the food is out of this world everything is locally grown and sourced. The pub and restaurant are cosy and Rustic. London looks amazing at Christmas time. 🎄 ❤

Hi luke sending big hugs and as far as your skin goes really keep on to your doctor my daughter had this problem and it really got to her in the end she had lots of tests and found there was a certain ingredients in things that were effecting her the doctor never seemed to be really bothered but you just need to keep firm even take a picture when it's as it's worst that's what we did hope you sort it enjoy dinner both ❤

Hello Luke! Loved to see London light up for the Christmas season. Visiting London is a dream that I hope I will soon accomplish. I think that this time of the year is just perfect. Not too cold yet, but already very festive. Your face trying that drink was so funny! I know how you feel about your family's house, but the memories will last forever in you. Your eyelid issue can be caused by an allergy. Maybe you touched something and then rubbed your eye. Pollen, dust or animal hair are very frequent causes. Lately with the change of the season I've been experimenting it quite often. Can't wait to see your purchases. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon!

Aww, Luke. I cried with you and remembered when my great aunt Winnie passed away 😢 The family sold the house, and I felt like they had sold my memories. Thankfully, each family member got to pick items and make a list of what we would like as keepsakes. I got everything on my list except the glass cabinet with the beautiful teaset inside. Fast forward 32 years, and I found that my Nana and great aunt Winnie are with me every day and have been since the house was sold. The chest of drawers houses all my summer and winter cardigans and jumpers. So no matter the season, every time I go to it, they are with me. The two green glass decorative dishes I still use today. When my children were younger, one of them used to be the sweet dish. My girls know their great great nana and aunt Winnie through these items. They are now over 100 years old, and it freaks people out that the dishes are used and not locked away in a glass cabinet. 😂 I'm now a GamGam or Nana, as you would say, and that connection never goes or disappears. The love and the warm memories you have will always keep her with you. I have my great nana and great aunt Winnie, whose sister was my nanny. Held tight in my heart. The house may have been sold.... but the memories live on through you. I'm sure she is with you and is massively proud of the wonderful, polite, thoughtfùl and kind gentlemen you are. I bet you will hit 100,000 before too long. I just started decorating the house here in Canada, probably my last Christmas here as I will be downsiing also. Many a good time over the years. This too will be sad ❤

I downsized 5 years ago and haven't looked back. I am so lucky to live where I am and love my home. It's just perfect. I hope you will feel the same once the trauma of moving is in the past but if I can offer you one tip, don't look back. I sold the family home because it felt sad rattling around in it once the children had grown and flown. I felt it needed a new family to fulfil it's purpose. A new family did buy it and loved it but the family unexpectedly outgrew the house so they decided to move to a bigger house. I made the mistake of looking at the listing. They had cared for the house so it wasn't that but their taste isn't my taste and the house just looked so different I hardly recognised it. I won't make that mistake again. Anyway, I hope your move, when it comes, goes smoothly and wish you many happy years in your new home, wherever that may be.
