To me this video, captures "MTN biking". Climbing, descending, beautiful mountain scenery, and solitude. This time is an inspiration video. We'll done sir.

Honestly, the bit in the mist set to 'Between Stones' is pretty much meditative. I wish it could go on forever. Seriously beautiful stuff.

Great video and love the music! How does this compare to the blue trails in the seattle area in terms of difficulty? I just started riding last year, and am doing blues. May be up in whistler this summer and would love to try this but don't want to get in over my head, or the handlebars ha ha.

thanks man! it definitely felt black diamond in places on the descent of LOTS proper. The rocky section is blue for sure. I would go for it and walk anything you don't feel comfortable on - most of it you'll be fine. Views are worth it.

rode some of this trial in the summer , got to the point at 10.19 in your film above that was closed due to snow , it was slog up to that point to be honest probably 60 to 70 % on the way up was ride-able for me compared to comfortably numb the other whistler signature that i can probably ride 95% + of the complete trial . without the ride further up to the alpine it squirrels was a little disappointing to be honest , although it was a great descent back down . The complete trial on good day would by the looks of your video be a better investment in time , but there are so many good trails in whistler you are spoilt for choise. nice video though thanks for showing what I missed

Great vid...are you using the electric shifter ?...if so how do you find it? cheers from Sydney Australia
@LukeMTB
@LukeMTB 7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Black Hawk - I am using Di2 - I'd say it's not worth it yet. Too expensive for not a lot of gain. Once it's cheaper I think it'll be nice as you don't have to worry about shifting cables/housing and the things that can go wrong with them. The electric wires are easy to setup, last/are durable.

Early Sep. Generally don't go up before July. I'd do August to play it safe. High altitude = snow likely into summer.

GoPro Hero 4 apparently doesn't have the issue. Otherwise you will need an external mic.

dang it, I got hero 5, thinking it'd be better to go with newER generation :(
@Stoo61
@Stoo61 6 жыл бұрын
Obviously the 5 has better feature but the 5 and 6 are now well known to struggle with sound. I only know because I have been researching the issue for some time. Its a bit annoying that you purchase a camera the price of the 5 and still have to find your own solution to the audio problems. Bad form from GoPro.
