to everybody here saying how easy it is - This is just part 1 which is always the basic introduction; consider the stress which has a really big impact and even the easiest questions seem hard; they are judged based on the vocabulary and using the right grammar, so it may not look hard, but it is quite difficult.

the point aren't the questions, which might be just the same ones as the B1 preliminary, but the answers. I’m like you, I have a good mastery of English, however I’m socially anxious. I do think that being able to actually speak to people in the language is part of your fluency. What use is a language if you’re not going to communicate in it? Work on your social anxiety by pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and speaking to more people in your native tongue and then use that to get comfortable doing the same in the language you’re studying.

so what? Do we have to get rid of our accent?
@piphany48582 жыл бұрын
@@stefyandrade684 Examiners have to. Or rather this way: those having a strong accent should not become IELTS, TOEFL etc. examiners. For his accent is so strong that I am in doubts if he really can speak English fliently enough not thoroughly reading his paper. Just IMHO.

Honestly this looks like a B2, not that i know about the measurements, but i can clearly see they do take some seconds to engage into the conversation/topic. Anyone else sees like this?

The iberic C usually shows up in some words. I guess it's hard for Spanish people with that C sound.

It just makes me realize how difficult English is to most people around the world, and we just don't know it. I was shocked when I found out there was a proficiency test for English because I'm American. I guess it makes sense though, just feels weird because the language is so natural to me.

Each language has its own language proficiency tests. It's normal. In my opinion, English is the easiest language in the world. That's why so many people can speak it

@@tsukiko8128 No it isn't 😑. So many people speak English because it's the most used language (Mandarin has the highest number of speakers but most of them are centralized in China) and because of the British colonial rule it became a National Language in many countries. You can't really have an opinion on how hard a language is, it can be determined how hard a language is (to an extent of course, since speakers of the some languages will find other language in the same family easier to understand). English definitely is one of the harder ones, and one of the more unnecessarily hard one's too. Easiest language will propably be a colang, like Esperanto.

@@fastlearner292 did you read what I wrote ? 😂 " In my opinion" means I personally think English is the easiest language. it is a logical language with simple grammar and writing. For example, Russian language seems to have the hardest grammar and Chinese language seems to have the most difficult writing. But English is easy to learn and use

@@fastlearner292I agree with the guy who says english is the easiest language in the world. Its structure is simple, the words repeat themselves, and it’s also quite easy to deal with numbers. I don’t live in an English speaking country, even though I’ve learned english all by myself…it’s just a matter of practicing.
