Why are these starter homes always so dark pre-renovation??? The rooms are always so big and use so few lights... Just when you made the rooms smaller and gave everyone a lamp it got better😅

I guess?, because they're started homes and they suppose to not cost much, so that's means small amount and low cost money objects.

They are dark cause the light everyone uses know was a later add on. The orignial base game didnt have much bright options. It wasnt till i think the one from get to work that the flavor text says abouy there brightness cant be contained that a good one was introduced.

My favorite rooms to furnish in the sims are teen rooms! Not only do I love high school years build items, but the playfulness and expressiveness of teenagers allow for so much storytelling and clutter. I love it!

Agreed! I love adding clutter in teen rooms for the same reason lol, it makes everything more alive i suppose, it feels more lived-in

I think that EA mean to make it boring and incentivate your will to renovate it, I mean that's the whole sims purpose

A lot of the time the sims can feel one note, but you gave it some well needed depth.

I think the couple on the poster is the couple from Windenburg, the ghost couple. Lady Mimsy Alcorn Shallot and Lord Bernard Escargot Shallot IV. The ones that haunt the Von Haunt Estate. 😀

O my I imagine a whole scene of the college student watching tv in his room he is quite tall and skinny he is basically mylo tach from Atlantis physical appearance wise and he is watching and old 40,s tv show ( I picture this in the 90,s ) and he suddenly feels an appetite so it’s like 12:40 its dark everyone is sleeping so he sneak out to the kitchen and makes a peanut butter and jelly sandwich but he hears a sound so he take a look and is his teenager sister he is freshly 18 and hi is in 2thgrade college and his sister is 16 almost 17 she is all dressed up and she give me like grundge muddy 90,s teenager and she is going to a party
