Saving commentary till after the fight so I can concentrate and enjoy my first EVER Guardian raid! I got my game face on for this one. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I figured it would be hard enough to introduce players to what Guardian Raids are like, but not overly difficult. I'm a little overgeared as well I think and overall, we performed better than I thought. Keep in mind this is ONLY TIER 1 DIFFICULTY and should not be the poster example of how difficult these raids can be.

emoren moren - kinda new to this channel. What happened regarding the “hate wave”. By reading through the other comments, I see a rumor that Korean players are hating and reporting foreigners for playing on their game?

@@BennyBrown00 it was indeed the case at the time of the vidéo. I don't know if it is still the case but probably. I think the main hate comes from the fact that foreigners don't understand everything so they might have a small lack of skill for end game content. Also there was a big problem with chineese bots so basically I think korean would like to have exclusivelly korean players on their server to minimise the bots and "bad player" problem.

I feel you man! But it is not because your nickname is in English there is tons of people with English names including me and my gf. Its impossible for people to notice that you're not Korean by that regardless of the discrimination in the community now if you got rejected even before talking or anything. Not many people know how to use the raid board yet. So only few people use it and you know there are popular classes and certain level requirements for each raid. Some people get really picky about it. Also, I'm not even surprised about what you said about people reporting and even your video getting blocked. You know its the internet, cant really expect much.. I just hope you meet good people around and enjoy the gameplay more. I know you want to take your time slow while progressing and figure out yourself but it might help to join an English speaking guild on the server as well. Because when it comes to raid it gets really fun when you play with friends. But so far without really talking in Korean, I've barely met anyone much who try to talk or doubt if Im a foreigner , u know in general people are not even really interested in other players business lol I also agree with you how you feel when you play games quiet (although I thought you had to be quiet for family haha) at the beginning when I first played raid, I was quite anxious and even stressed by that but later after playing again and again now I play while talkin about christmas gifts for parents lol

You know, I just realized: are the Guardians based on/inspired by the Four Constellations? Cause I've seen the White Tiger and the Phoenix/Vermillion Bird, so are the other two the Azure Dragon and the Black Tortoise? Or are there more still?

Wow you make sense! Didn't think about it but there are all those animals in this game! Plus, there are tiger and bear in the Legend of "origin of Koreans." The god gave them a quest, tiger retired, bear succeeded. So the bear became the first Queen of Korean people. So it make sense that first two raid bosses are tiger and bear I guess! What is so special about guardian raids? They look like any other dungeon? Is it that but just end game difficulty and loot or am I missing something

Time limit, rez limit, unique end game gear, Monster Hunter style encounters with various monsters and available in harder and harder difficulty, requires good team work, good builds, and a strong focus.

u need to do these raids in order to get the "raid set", one of the 4 end-game sets, u also can't use normal health potions, only combat consumables which includes special health potions but u can only take few of them according to its rarity

Who is giving the shields here? The warlord? I see no bard in the party

The shield lasts only like 4-5 seconds but its not easy to see warlord's buff or supports. Because while using that sheild warlord puts down the damage received for the whole team 40 percent for like 16 seconds as well. Warlords also do a significant role to reduce defence of enemy and increase the damage of the team. In high level gameplays, warlords also remove debuff of the team like poison effect and etc.

@@user-sl309jd90 Well I heard warlords have good damage and can just demolish stunbars, knew about the shielding ultimate but didn't know it put an absorb aswell, looks like it's gonna be fun to main one cause I had a hunch they were in demand at high end play but this just cements it further.

@@unnero1 Warlord is like average in every aspect. So people complaining often say warlord is not strong enough. But Im happy with playing warlord! When people at stake get shield from me and thank me later then it feels gooood haha

Wow Korean players are hating on foreigners for playing their game?? Haven’t heard about any community in the U.S. doing this at all. At least for me it isn’t common knowledge for us Americans to discriminate hate and report players for playing on English servers on a game. If I see someone with a foreign name, I’ll usually try to say hello and greet them through an emote or something similar if the game doesn’t have an emote system.
