Hi Andrew I have just subscribed to your channel , to cut a long story short I am returning to the micro 4/3 rd system I have a limited budget and ideally my first choice Would be the g9 ii but its bit out of my price range just now. I can get my hands on a brand new G9 with the 12-60 Leica lens From Amazon at a fantastic price the g9 seems to be a better camera since the firmware updates which I have watched on your channel. Do you think G9 it would do for me in the meantime, Regards Alan Winton.

Hi Alan, the G9 is a fantastic camera. I still take it with me as a backup camera and to shoot behind-the-scenes when using my other camera. It struggles a bit in low light / high ISO, but all micro 4/3 cameras do. And the autofocus issues you hear about really only apply to video, not really a problem for stills. It's an excellent choice if you can't afford the mark 2.
