I don't think I was as heartbroken over my ex as I was about the fact that I let them overstep my boundaries, crush my self esteem and not realising my worth. I tried so hard to make them stay, to make them want me again that I was throwing myself at them even though they were constantly hooking up with others. It irks me that I still care about them. They've shut me down, discarded me pretty much - so much for telling me that they wanted to spend their life with me. But I'm starting to realise that my forgiveness and empathy is what makes me me and that I'm worthy and loved even though I've made mistakes. Not everybody understands your value and not everybody should've access to you. I'm going to heal and I'm going to put in the effort to become better. It's a bad day, not a bad life. Edit: Thank you so much for the likes and for everyone who replied! It made me feel that I am not alone in this fight. I've lived some of my happiest days in the last three weeks. And I know that it'll happen to you too! I'll pray for it! Please don't give up on fighting to become a better version of yourself. Everything is temporary, even our existence. Let's make the best out of it! People will come and people will go. This is the story. There's no changing it. The happy ending is always in your hands. I hope you're happier tomorrow than you're today. I hope you're healthier tomorrow than you're today. And I sincerely pray with all my heart for your broken heart to heal and while it is in the process, for you to experience the world and know that you're invincible!

This video showed up at the best time. My ex broke up with me 5 months ago and I’m going to see him tmrw to pick up my stuff. I was writing him a note because I wanted to let him know that I appreciated our good times and I’ve actively worked on myself over the past months and I am at a better place now. But the truth is, this would satisfy my desire to chase him one more time, even though I know that deep down inside, he is not the right person for me, and that he would never want me back again. So I decided to not give him the note, he moved on, so I should let go. I am desirable, you’re right, I want someone to naturally want me.

same still applies. If it's meant to be, it will align to happen, but when you're stable within yourself and put Yourself on the pedestal first. You cannot loiter around and desperately hang onto them and expect that to a) be a solid foundation to "start new" in the connection and b) attract them to you. Stop worrying yourself sick, you know you love them already. And if you truly do love them like you say, then pour into your own cup and wholy Love yourself first.
