Good for you for quitting smoking. 👏 Luckily I never tried it...I just know I'd be a prime candidate for addiction. So I was always too afraid to even try. Thanks for bringing this series back!!! She is sooo pretty. And the freckle thing has a lot to do with "traditional" Asian beauty standards. A fair and porcelain looking complexion used to be the desired beauty standard. It shouldn't have any "marks" on it. That's how it used to be, I am not endorsing this kind of thinking.

We both live alone and are in each other’s pod. I have to get tested every Tuesday for work, and don’t see people who are compromised (including my parents which is the most heartbreaking part). I appreciate your concern

@chrissstttiiine it’s good to know that you’re getting tested regularly, but people do get false negatives. (My cousin got Covid that way.) I appreciate that you’re bringing attention to an important issue, however I hope you will consider wearing a mask when interacting with those outside your household. My own pod is very small, but we still wear masks when we hang out.

@@chrissstttiiine I appreciate this dialogue! There still aren't really established rules about how to navigate these things and it comes down to discussing boundaries with other people in your pod and getting an understanding about each other lifestyles. For example- I'm in a pod with my sister (she lives with her partner, I live with our parents, neither of us leaves the house for work). We hang out at her place and play with their cats every two weeks at most. In the summer when we could leave the windows open and cases weren't as high in our area, I wasn't wearing a mask but I do now. She says I don't have to but I do for my own comfort and sense of safety for the three of us and our families. I tell her she doesn't have to though, as I'm the one coming into her own space. Anyway, everyone's boundaries are different so I'm glad people are talking about how best to preserve public health and individual mental health in the ways that we can!

In my country only one household is allowed to visit by one person at a time. So we take turns to see our parents for lunar year. They are very lonely now I guess. And I cannot see my siblings. My friends mom was in hospital with cancer. And because a negative (!) tested woman was put next to her for just one night, she got covid. My friend was not allowed to visit her anymore, so her mother fought alone and then died alone. In the usa the death rate is much higher then mine. It's already 475k, that are 560 very big planes. I guess is hard for everyone and for some even more. But I still think this was unnecessary. Even when I'm unsuscribing now, I hope you, your family and friends are safe and healthy. ❤️
