Very cool encounter! Lyon's has been around for D E C A D E S... I lived around the corner and down a block or 2 way back in the mid-80s. Such a great go-to for all the things. Most of Dexter has changed since then, but Lyon's is still a PACKED neighborhood convenience. 😋

I love Lyons but they don't always destem their pepperoncinis and I laugh at how unhinged this is every time I order a Vinnie's. Not just a one time thing too, but many sandwiches over years. It's crazy. 😂 Also, a heads up, if you go there during peak lunch hour it's best to call ahead. It can take upwards of 40 minutes to get a sandwich.

Had friends who live right across the street. Hot Ave with avocado was my go to. They have delicious breakfast sandwiches as well because of the house sundried aioli. So glad that they got featured.
