I ve had lung disease since 2012 they said 3-5 yrs i would live its 2020 and that's 8 yrs later never give up . And i am still going strong healthy working out light workout and use 4 litres oxygen when needed. Its a lot of mental game just fight you can do it beat lung disease . Don't let it control you find a way.

I’m going through that now on 3 liters getting all testing for transplant just now . I had a pulmonary dr who never mentioned a lung transplant ever as an option and he told me in the beginning I have ipf. I got sick over holidays and now I’m scared my oxygen drops when I walk around the house . I blame myself as much as the doctor but for two years I would get checked ups with him he would say your hanging on to those lungs keep it up. He should have explained ipf to me from the first visit that he told me I had it .
