Great Job Steve! I thought you were going to spin around in a circle while you were talking, once you slid your casting platform back, so your could get your feet on the pedals! That would have been cool! 😁 Thanks Jerry for posting this and thanks for starting this TTX10 Channel! I cam only hope that more owners share what they have done with their TTX10s!

I drove to Madison IN. from SC. and picked up my X10 I also modified my trailer and made it a flat deck it made it easier to load and unload. I fish in salt water flats with mine had to get the trailer from freedom mar.

Rick, Interested people have asked about the Twin Troller in salt water. David from Freedom Electric Marine has a video of him fishing for reds in saltwater but we do not have much other feedback from others about saltwater. Can you comment on that? I am sure others would be interested. Gerry

Steve, I just went on Rick's channel and watched some of his videos in salt water with his Twin Troller. I subscribed to his channel. Nice job Rick. Gerry

Hi Gerry, the TT works great in the salt flats because there is always some current to deal with my last 2 trips have been softbait gigs catching trout just drifting with the tide and working the points and creeks. The TT works so much better than my hobie outback for this since it is hands free,I have not put the outback in the water since I got the TT.I have had the boat about 3 months I think. The one thing I will say is you need the gas motor to go against the tide for any distance if the tide is strong it will only do 1 or 2 mph.

Great video, but do you have any tips on loading and unloading with this trailer setup?

Twin Troller Pop Culture Fact: Did you know Steve's boat (the one in this video) used to be David's boat? Steve's boat IS the boat on the cover of the Twin Troller manual and IS the boat in the Twin Troller model videos. Steve's boat is a bit of a celebrity and it couldn't have gone to a better guy.

Wow, Steve did you get your Twin Troller autographed by David and Frank? Gerry

Steve, I am going to be buying a TT 10 soon but I will be buying a HF trailer as you did. Did you repack the trailer’s bearings or did you go with the packing HF provided? Any advice you may have for me assembling the trailer would be greatly appreciated. Larry

Steve, thank you for the much appreciated detailed response! I will keep in touch. It sure would be nice if there was a forum where we could all interact about the boat and the entire experience. Perhaps Gerry can suggest this for us. I would prefer that option. Larry

If you are looking for the quality of items they have at Harbor Freight then it is a great place to shop. Some of there items are great and others not so much. Some things they have I am happy with and others I would not buy. I believe many Twin Troller owners are coastal people and this boat is made with saltwater in mind also. The boat is suitable for both but I would not go offshore for Tuna. There is a versatile boat that can go in fresh or salt water. Gerry
