a nice bass for the table is always welcome free food and healthy aswell winner winner mate and sometimes mate the old spot turn out to be the hot spots thats why we fished them in the first place ...live and learn mate im 56 and i still learn stuff from you and other youtuber's and i have one old spot i have in mind im going to revisit after thinking about it now ..take care stay well

Im going to have to get one of these evo bass lures ,im not a big fan of soft plastics never do well with them but you are smashing them and i fish similar rough ground so worth a try.good video ,nice fish cheers 👍

Yeah give them a go. There are certain spots that you just cant fish a hard lure (especially with trebles on) without getting snagged. Even the best sub surface lures will still find the snag's. The Evobass Lance glides just below the surface so they’re great for the really shallow rough ground spots. You can fish them with the confidence they’re very unlikely to get snagged.

Hi great vid after getting into bass lure fishing, done freshwater lure fishing mainly for trout. Wanting your advice on a good saltwater set up been looking at the nomura kanji saltwater lure rod, savage gear sg2 shore game 9 ft and hto lure game rod what are your views and recommendations keep up the good work regards John.

Hi, they’re all good choices. I’m looking at getting a kanji myself but as a heavier lure rod to take away with me. I can’t say I have used either of the other two so can’t comment too much. My lure rod is 8ft, a 9ft rod would be just as good if fishing from rock marks etc. Personally I prefer to actually have a feel of a rod before I buy it, everybody is different and will look for certain things in a rod depending on what you’re using it for. I also prefer a rod which will fish a soft plastic or a surface lure just as well, so an all rounder really. Sorry I can’t help you too much. Thanks👍🏼

These are the Lance 160 (16cm) they're 17g. I've been using a 5/0 twist lock hook with them. Cheers 👍

Yeah it is good. It does slow down at certain times of the year but if you put in the hours you’ll manage to find a few. There are so many being caught with baits at the moment though, i know of a few mates who have done really well lately.

What rod and reel do you use ? And what g weight?

Rod is a Nomura Never Crack 20-40g and the reel is a Shimano Nasci 4000👍🏼
