LUSK VILLAGE, A LANDFILL SITE, AND A MINI RANT

Rogerstown Park is located almost fifteen miles north of Dublin City, and very close to the village of Lusk. It was once a landfiil, which holds over twelve and a half million tons of trash. There are a number of pathways within it's surroundings, that are not strenuous and offer up great views of the surrounding countryside.
Lusk Village derives it's name from the Irish word ' lusca ' which means cave or underground chamber. It is thought that Saint Cullin, who founded a church there c 450 AD, lived in or was buried in a cave. It has a population of almost eight thousand people.

Yes Don, the Caucasian/European settlers settled way after the Indigenous within their own land, yet, when we see open & so often acceptable racism, running rampant abound & yes, even within Australia,, I find it so shocking & deplorable, as it takes everyone to make a country what it is, regardless of what transpired prior. Migrants, of which we all had ancestors who were, as they all hailed from somewhere & in Australia, primarily from Europe, are great for any country & certainly have been for Australia. They've brought great cultures, great work skills, great food & snacks abound & so much more!! It's a very good thing & is certainly nothing to be afraid of, as so many appear to be. Many Australians of European ancestry & the same goes with Americans of European ancestry, they seem to forget that there were original land owners before them! Original land dwellers/owners who were cruelly robbed/stripped of their safe haven, their home. I said to my husband prior, that if historically we humans hadn't been so judgemental in the way we see & treat others who don't look like us or who don't do as we do, I would strongly argue, that @ least 90% of global problems would have been eliminated already.

👋Hi there Don, My apologies for this very lengthy post today. This was an interesting video my friend & may I say, I'm so sorry for your deep loss. May Tom RIP & may you & your family all find comfort through each other, during this sad & difficult time in your lives. Always good to see you on screen & to hear many important, truthful & logical things that you have to say. I really enjoy your rants & why? Because you always speak your "truth" (something many globally don't seem to do anymore....they follow the wrong crowd) & you aren't afraid to say what you feel regarding global matters. Here's the issue IMPHO....Most people don't want to hear "truth &/or historical truth" & why? Because it makes them feel very uncomfortable, similarly to stabbing the quiet beehive. If you do that, you know what happens, the bees go crazy & all chaos & hell breaks loose. We humans are exactly the same. If w leave the nasty people alone, to post their ignorant crap online & all is well, all is calm, because they're allowed to post their crap, but when someone open minded, logically minded & intelligent comes along & tries to right any wrongs, or even challenge outspoken & outright "lies/deception" ....Well, we know what happens. The issue is, if these online trolls & haters are challenged in "any" way whatsoever, they will definitely rebel & you won't hear the end of it. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if this comment is soon deleted! lol But like you, I stand by historical truth & I will never remain quiet. I think I'm your female equivalent!😂 You tube, Facebook, Twitter etc;, they all love to remove comments based off of truth, because "they" are uncomfortable with truth being publicly aired & they falsely/wrongly deem them offensive, but I think that it's "their" behaviour that's damn oppressive & equally offensive! There is so much info strewn all over the internet, specifically pertaining to matters of "racial discrimination, freedom of speech, political & religious" tension, which btw, those who have never had to deal with such matters, have not a clue about, hence the absolute widespread "apathy" rather than "empathy". The British colonizers & all other colonizers were ruthless, deplorable & savage thieves & not the innocent & original owners of their own lands, as the colonizers & historians will always have us all falsely believe. They always deemed everyone that didn't fit their physical, intellectual or social ideologies as "savage", but had somehow🤔, forgotten to look themselves in the mirror real good. But here's the real deal, many of us, like you, me, my husband, my nearest & dearest & my friends know, all of the above said behaviours, are very obviously perpetrated with absolute "intent", hence why the logical & truthful posts from the good folk abound, are then deleted. I think that many of the global issues, are coming from the far right & when anyone leaning anywhere else makes comment, it becomes a huge problem for such followers & anyone who doesn't follow their political leaning, must be immediately eliminated/blocked. I've had many comments removed too & all for the "same" reasons as you. Btw, what you said regarding that Aussie woman was true, but of course, many descendants of the former colonizers don't want to hear about the disgusting historical legacies of some of their ancestors. They don't want to hear 'truth" & this is why, some narrow minded, racist & bigoted people will never change for the better. My Grandmother used to say, "Racism is stupid, as it's a true disease of the human mind & it's all rooted in denial, fear & ignorance, regarding the realities/acceptance of human "similarities" (rather than so called, differences) & their history." I could go on & on here, but I'll end up writing a mini book via your channel, so I'll end it here. lol All in all, everything you stated is true & nothing but true & your 2 comments that were shamefully deleted were true, but some self serving people don't want to know truth. They choose to live in their own apathy, with their lies & that seems totally acceptable & ok with them. They choose to live within their own enclosed bubble. Don, if I may say so, please keep speaking up for the oppressed & please keep speaking truth, for truth is great & is the "only" way that more so positive change can ever come about. I do exactly the same & will always do so. The 2 wee black lambs are so beautiful! This suddenly reminded me of horrible human history, whereby the nursery rhyme, Baa Baa Black Sheep was a racist nursery rhyme. To think, that some human populations have been so narrow minded in their feelings, thoughts & views of others & by using an animal of colour, their msg sent was loud & clear. And to think, that even nursery rhyme's were racist, geezzz.😒😮‍💨

Humans is a totally made up word, just as borders are man made & stereotyping around so called "race" is historically made up. We humans are not civilized whatsoever, but we like to think we are, for we're all animals & the ONLY thing that sets us apart from all other living species, is that we can speak & we can reason. Well sometimes!😅 I should also add, that regarding "death" I do think about it like you do & I have done so since I was young, because I was a Palliative Nurse for many years. I don't think about it daily however, but I do consider the human condition, human fragility & the limited time that we have here on earth & to think, that human history is dotted with so, so much ugliness, filth, pain & cruelty.
