Thanks for a great look at the different papers. Not sure I Like how the lux grabbed the dust you were blowing away. Im assuming this would mean you would have to cover the entire page as you could never keep the background clean?

Working with cp on the lux looks like pastel pencils. It looks beautiful, but I think I would need to get a hand vac for the dust! I’m looking forward to your tutorial on the luxe and powder blender, thanks for doing this!

Thank you so much for these tests! This is definitely on my list of papers to try now. The LuxArchival seems to make the Polychromos white pencil useful! 😁 I can't believe how bright the white comes out on top of other layers - it's usually so translucent as to only be useful for blending. Very impressive! Are you able to achieve lighter layers of colour on the LuxArchival? It seems to grab lots pf pigment, but if you want less, can you achieve it? It seems like for the watercolours, you would want lighter layers to have more control and smoother transitions when you add water.

How does an eraser work on each?

I read that you have to mount the UArt if you are using liquid because it will warp and won’t recover.

I've never had thst problem but I've only used the 600 and 800 grits so cannot speak for all of the weights. I've added a lot if water go mine with no warping at all.

I have wanted to try the new paper and now i will,I thought pastelmat was the way to go and its still a good paper if you want to layer more slowly.
