From extreme heat in South Africa, i would love to move to Luxembourg, i love that weather. I am just scared of being too lonely and praying that my whole family would move to.

We actually have a South African expat working at my agency. If you would like to get in touch with her I would love to set up a digital meet to get all your questions answered?

Offtopic : Is it possible for a 3rd country nationality student coming to Luxembourg and work 15 hours as part time work, and finance their own rent and food by part time work. Would be glad to know.

There's no expat, just an immigrant. Expat, it's just a fancy word that North American tends to use to describe themselves as an immigrant, if you are white, you are an expat but if you aren't white, you are an immigrant. As a European no one use the word expat, when we move abroad we are an immigrant and that's how we identify ourselves.

I wholeheartedly have to disagree. We have many workers coming over from India and Pakistan to work for example for Amazon or TCS. We still call them expats.
