Tandoori done right is a thing of beauty, and you're making me want Indian food after watching you mow that plate down alone! Buffets can be a thing of beauty and you really have a knack for finding really good ones, Mike! Even those grilled vegetables looked delicious--roasted cauliflower is a lovely thing. If I ever get to KL, I am totally looking this place up.

Better than many buffets anywhere else in the world. Love that vegetables play a huge role in this buffet too. They were prepared with as much complexity of flavor as the many styles of meat and seafood. As Mike would say - AMAZING!!! 😎🌿😎

5:37 - that asian spotted crab (called the “swimming crab”) is not at all like American blue crab, but looks similar, yet they are often mushy (i did some videos on different brands of the asian crab recently) and often very fishy, but i liked how you said its “creamy” but really, its mushy much of the time. i still eat it as i cant resist crab. 😊

Have you tried lemon garden buffet at shangri la kl? Go on a weekend for its seafood buffet. You will NEED TO MAKE RESERVATION tho. One of the best buffet Ive had in KL

Lol took so much dessert but avoided the 1 good thing thats unique and not generic (The colorful layered cake in 19:32) . Honestly I really dont think the buffet represented Malaysian cuisine all that much, seems to me like buffets mostly just serve generic food.

The buffet at this Mandarin Oriental in KL is totally outstanding with a huge selection of many cuisines. Quite a few very interesting items. And Mikey eating some items he rarely tries. $45 is a steal!

Malaysia is super underrated for our food.. everyone going to Singapore instead when you can get tastier, fresher food for 1/3 the price; and btw all the food in Singapore is simply imported from Malaysia (just about everything and 90% of the water), Indonesia (pork) and Thailand (rice and some chicken) so it’s kinda not as fresh, same like Hong Kong. Don’t believe me? Go look it up.
