I‘d say go for a classic style, not too trendy because depending on your plans, it might be your only designer bag for a while and you don’t want to risk getting sick of it or it going out of style too soon. Black is always a safe option, or an LV canvas piece, depending on whether you are okay with logos. Ferragamo has some lovely “entry level” price point leather bags. Saint Laurent is slightly more pricey, but I’m really pleased with the bags I do own from them. The Sac de Jour is a great bag, that, depending on the size you go for, will work for most scenarios. Size wise, will it be a bag that you are planning to wear day to day and to work, or more as an occasion bag where you can go more compact in terms of what you are carrying? Sorry, I’m just giving you pointers and aspects to consider, rather that specific recommendations but it’s super hard without background info. Hope that helps nonetheless :)
