Great system. When I cut off the big side piece I like to put that in place where it would normally be to help support that edge.

this is great and all but there is a way to do this that is much cheaper and warrantied by most manufactures. where you cut of the small tongue on 2 sides (the big side is actually the groove). slide the grove into place and use CA glue to hold down the sides that you cut. one corner of the big grove may need to be cut off about an inch to allow you to slide and tap the plank into place.
