Good to know!🌼 Litchi is a sub-tropical fruit and thrives best under moist sub-tropical climate. It usually prefers low elevation and can be grown up to an altitude of 800 m. (m.s.l.). Deep, well drained loamy soil, rich in organic matter and having pH in the range of 5.0 to 7.0 is ideal for the crop. 🌳

I guess sandy soil is perhaps best acidic soil for growing litchi plants as is mentioned in Google. I am also growing orange, lemon and apple seeds in one big container together

Make sure the seeds are in an airtight jar or bag, if you're using the tissue paper method.🌳

I managed to sprout a number of seeds and then transplant to pots, but the small plants developed brown tips on the leaves and eventually died :(

Don't worry, Keep adding fertilizer after every 10 days and if the pot is small transfer the plant into bigger pot and make sure the soil is not too slushy nor too hard. Keep the soil moisten at all times for Lychee plants and they need full sun to increase their growth.
