Lydia, that collar on your little dog would be like you wearing an 8-10lb necklace around your neck, leather and brass are so heavy. You cannot put something that heavy around a little dogs neck, you will give him the worse neck pain, and may cause injury. Think dog friendly rather than fashion accessory.

Don’t worry it’s the worst time of year to do it because of wet ground... but it’s all what needs to be done for green house ... so don’t worry , had so much work done in garden and it is disheartening how messy builders are, but they will clear up before they go hopefully and get it to a standard your happy with and when it’s up , it’s going to look stunning! By spring it will be all coming together... your going to love being in garden next year and we looking forward to all your gardening days giving us tips 💕xx

Lydia have you ever looked at pot fillers? They go on the wall behind the stove so you can fill a pot while it sits on the stove, you don’t have to carry it from the sink to the stove. I make lots of pasta and this feature in my kitchen is so helpful. I love it and I think you would too. I believe it will fill up the space behind the stove perfectly. ❤️❤️

Be careful with the collar you choose, especially for a small breed that’s close to the ground. Our vet warned us with our first dog as I had got him a lovely leather one with the traditional buckle, that many dogs he’d seen had suffered serious injuries and some had died when the collars had caught and they can’t get it off very easily. He recommended the ones with the safety clasp. 🐶❤️🐶

I woke up at 4.30 am and got very upset with that, but then I binged watched 5 episodes of Christmas with Millen-Gordons and my life is good again 😀 I don't know whether it is Christmas stuff or just Lydia being Lydia, but I am sure I will re--binge-watch all of the 2020 Christmas edition 😊 Also - I am so excited about the birthday gift I bought for myself this year, which is Christmas wreath making class. I feel your pain 😟 with bits that aren’t done in your home! Me and hubby have been renovating our home for 3 years now... just us... as it’s our first home and we don’t have a lot of money... We’ve taken walls down, ceilings down... putting our own electric heated flooring down... completely re-wired the house, (with sparkys help!) painting all the walls, putting stair cases in ourselves... hubby is a carpenter / joiner by trade and believe me... your home is beautiful compare to mine at the moment... we don’t even have heating right now as we are taking out our boiler! 🥶 last year we didn’t even have tiles on our roof.. that was a cold cold Christmas... one day.... one day it’ll be finished... just think of the end result 💛🌸 love the video as always!

Getting foundations right for a properly built structure is important. If you didn't do it this way it would probably have to be a large concrete slab but even then maybe still with piering. It will be wonderful and stable and properly set in place for many years to come once it's done. Can't wait to see it!

OMG. That is exactly what I do! A small basket of masks by the front door with hand sanitizer in a pump dispenser. The first thing you do when entering my home- sanitize. And lastly a cotton drawstring wash bag hanging in the utility room for used masks- goes straight in the washing machine .

Hi Lydia, just a suggestion, but it’s best not to put your dogs name on their collar. Just a contact number. If they are stolen dog theft and if the thief knows the name of your dog this may help them pass on the dog to the unsuspecting new owners because it appears they know the dog because the dog responds to their name.

I will place a guess that the new fur baby’s name will start with an L? Possibly Louie? If not an L maybe Winston or Alfie? Tots agree with the project stress! It’s like you think ‘oh this day this will happen and this day it will be done’ then suddenly your home feels out of place and torn to bits and wish for your ‘normal’ to be returned to you! Hi Lydia, re the dog collar, I recommend foregoing the collar (unless it is for decorative purposes and you wont attach the leash). Collars are bad for the necks and throats/tracheas of small dogs. Best to use harnesses with leashes for small dogs or they could get hurt.

Put your surname or something that dosent hint to the dogs name and a telephone number. If he was ever to run away or be stollen if the thief knows the dogs name then it’s much easier to pass the dog off as their own. However enjoy the puppy! (And probably some sleepless nights)! X

Hi Lydia, I love watching your videos. They really make me feel positive. Especially this time of year when it’s all things festive. I’m super excited to meet your little Sausage dawgy but I wanted to let you know that you must not put his name on his collar. The reason being, if he was ever stolen, thieves can call him by his name and you risk familiarisation and thats terribly dangerous. We have a toy cockapoo pup, now 7 months old and we simply have our surname and mobile telephone number on her collar. Not the pet name. Ever! This is a very good point Emma, also most dogs just respond to the sound associated with their name rather than their actual name. someone would just have to hear you roughly call their name. But yes, if I was a dog thief I'd go straight for the treats and by pass the name tag haha x

It’s not so much someone being able to take him by knowing his name, it’s if that awful person then wanted to sell him on, nobody would suspect he’s been stolen because they’d be able to see the dog responding happily to his name. I just want to quickly say thank you so much Lydia - I can’t tell you how much your content continues to inspire me. I’ve introduced so many tiny habits into my life thanks to you, and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.
