Half truths were worse than outright lies since they took longer to get to the bottom of truth!

Always hiding something, but they do it so much that they either can't keep up with the details or forget others are a liability to the lies. I caught my nex in a lie by omission because he failed to mention he and the now new supply hung out when I asked why he'd gotten distant. He blamed it on work and being busy with a project. When I questioned the picture she posted of them to social media (he didn't know she posted), he spiraled into a "poor me" tangent. We broke up the next day.

It's empowering that you were able to see through the lies and prioritize your well-being. Trusting your instincts and setting boundaries are crucial in navigating relationships. Keep focusing on your growth and happiness. You deserve positivity and honesty in your life.

Ahhh, the lies by omission, his favorite pastime. For years I took him at face value, then I got smart. It's surreal knowing the truth while they are standing in front of you spinning tales. Sometimes he forgets his lies, something slips out and I say, "wait, didn't you tell me.....". So crazy.

Good Video Ben. Do 1 next on how... Doing nothing can be Neglect. Seinfeld's final episodes confirm and display how they even created "Megan's Law" to prevent it...

Curious what's Megan's law?
@Imnotyourdoormat Жыл бұрын
@@marthaforbes5597It's a law that was adopted in many diversified areas of the world including the U.S and was set in place after Princess Die was killed in her limo and people just stood around not trying to help her but taking pictures instead doing nothing. The law was devised and installed to combat the alarming growth and acceptance of Narcissism into our culture. Narcissists use neglect as 1 of their most serious forms of abuse they can utilize against their victims and it's the hardest to pin down and prosecute with their old "But I didn't do anything" routine. Seinfeld and crew used that very tactic saying, "But we didn't do anything" to their Arresting Officer to which he replied....."That's right you didn't and thats why you re being arrested. Come with me."

@@The_MimSo? So what? Ben is a young and growing upcoming channel and needs all the support he can get. KZbin measures activity more than likes. So I always try to look active on his channel responding right back and giving "Return" likes. I've even often been thru combat for Ben fighting that freaking "Algo" like David fought Goliath. It plagues everything I do on his channel. Other channels too. Ben has a metric ton to teach people if they will just sit down and listen. He should easily have a million subscribers already. Danielle Radins another 1. Shes dynamite. Bulletproof Doctrine but few ears. And that's sad. I try to help her all I can for the exact same reasons. Either 1 of these 2 ever founder and quit, a lot of people in need will suffer needlessly. It's like real medicine being right in front of a dying man but he won't take it and dies anyway.

There are many times I don't share with my husband a lot of things because he doesn't know when to be silent. I'm not going to gossip by sharing with HIM (of all people) anything that is told to me in confidence. Would THAT be considered lying??? Because if it is, well, I'm going to have to still keep things from him. He makes things about HIM. Thanks for your insight and encouraging us how to deal with narcs.

Narcissist: "I want what I want, when I want, where I want, and with whom I want, now. What is mine, is mine; what is yours, is mine. The means justify the means." A totally bankrupt soul of a leech will suck out your life blood and soul if you let them. I let them until I became awake to my own dying process.

And to him he was being honest because he was telling the truth so in his head he was clear. That is the craziest bulshit ever "yeah I went to my mom's today I went and cut the grass ....but I'll leave out the part when I stop by Trina's house and got some sex and then I went to the other girl's house and just spoon with her cuz she's the new supply.😂😂

Lied like a rug. Then, felt soooooper sorry for himself that he was such a bad, bad, man. He'd just wallow in shame and I felt sooo sorry for him, until two decades in I learned about some of the lies. Then, snap, and he'd tell me he was basically 'a happy guy.' [And I was a threat to his natural happy state]. And mostly, as long as the supply was rolling in, he was pretty happy. I'm a veteran teacher of 30 years who can read most people like a road map. I could not tell when he was lying.

Lying: willfully and knowingly giving false information in order to fool someone. Omitting: not saying a thing, keeping silent. lying by omission objectively speaking isn't real
