Thank you so much for sharing your downsizing story. I recently moved into a 968sqft house that was built in 1960 Yikes. I used to live in a new construction house which I thought was my dream house. I am still getting adjusted and pray to God that he guides me because i still struggle with the decision. Mainly because renovating this house will be overwhelming. Looking at your video gives me a little more peace.

Save the wet wipes! They can be used for emergencies if there is no water and theyre handy for quick refresh when you get hot. I also keep them in my car for emergencies and they're wonderful to clean your hands when theyre dirty from being in the park, eating, etc. I always keep a large package in my home and a refillable container for my car.

@@kilayla13 I have survived numerous snowstorms and a couple of floods. The nearest shopping options including grocery stores were 45 minutes away. I know exactly how to plan what is needed and how to survive without immediate access to basic necessities. I also learned how to cope with power outages, what can be used for alternatives if needed. My planning and purchasing what I expect I will need starts at the end of August. I usually have excess supplies but I’m always ready.

We've been on septic for 34 years, been thru 5 babies. Youngest is 18, but we still have wet wipes. Trashcan in every bathroom, diaper area. To maintain septics its better not to flush anything but human waste, no pads, tampons, toilet paper, wet wipes, q-tips, anything. Hubby used to install septic systems. They are freaking expensive! Blah. So sorry that had to be done but at least you know who's excrements are in it. 😂 Love the pantry idea. ❤

So for the dog who gets up on the back cushion….put a special towel or throw where they land that you can shake out and not have dirt on your cushions! The one I used…I had an up side that always went up!

We have septic too since we live in the country also. We dont flush any toilet paper or anything like that down the toilet. Keep the wet wipes in the car for wiping dirty hands and faces or wiping down the cup holders, we always have some in the car. I loved the pantry idea!!! I cant wait to see you make this house your own!!!!!

Lynn in order not to continue cutting your fingers while scrubbing the knife don’t scrub up on the air place your knife on the middle section of your sink, while you scrub on side then the other.❤

I read a book about speed cleaning, and his main thing was never put a dirty rag back in the bucket put your bucket with your cleaning solution and all the rags you think you’ll need, and when all your rags have been used and dirty, then you bring them to the sink and rinse them out and your cleaning solution is still clean to use you use a lot less cleaning product that way

I made a list of cleaning and organizing projects I want to get done. I always find that it is a great incentive to go back and see the progress I have made. It makes me feel like I have accomplished something. Your encouragement to do a project inspired me to get 2 things done off my list. Thank you for all your inspiration. Keep those wet wipes, you don't have to put them in the septic. They are great for keeping in your car or using them to when you go on an outing somewhere and just need to tidy yourself up.

Are poor older cat. We had so many issues with messes around the house. The only thing I found that ended up working was this product called poof and then there's this orange citrus urine spray that really worked but the poof stuff was what was amazing like in all cases that you really really have to soak it and then sometimes multiple times to get the smell out. Re wet wipes..have a bin at side of toilet and use nappy bags ..no more flushing.😂. Dog pee…I have 3 dogs..always have accidents etc, my mother told me years ago to always neutralise the urine before cleaning, ie go over numerous times with just water, then clean with detergent…the ammonia in the urine fights the detergent smell, I have always used this method and it works very well..I’m 60 and have had dogs all throughout my 30 year marriage so it’s definitely tried and tested..hope it helps x

Odoban is a good product for pet orders! My daughter has four dogs that get in her furniture and she uses that. I’m lucky, my two doodles don’t get on our furniture 😊

The wet wipes can also be used to clean. When my sister moved into an old house, there was mildew on the window sills. Wet wipes were the only thing that got it clean. Yes to the Amazon favorites video.

I live in the country and have a septic tank.....I don't put anything like toilet paper, etc. to flush down toilet. I even did not do this when I lived in cities. I think on the wipes it says not to flush.......but there are some that are flushable but I would still not do it. Nothing worse than a clogged toilet :( Just use the wet wipes to quickly clean outside of toilet or for when traveling.

I love those swivel chairs but they wouldn't last a minute in my house... I use the Hoover Paws & Claws cleaner. It's a concentrate and I use it in my upright power pet dash. I like the smell of it and it works great. Try a small bottle to see what you think.

Hi Lynn, I'm so happy you are doing great. I see you have a lot of processed food. I know you live a busy life, however, you are young, agile and I could say healthy. Many doctors on KZbin say thst processed food hurt people's health. That is why there is so much cancer going on, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's the list is unending. They make the food taste good for people to keep on buying. If at all possible you can make from scratch, would be great. Your body and your family's body will appreciate it.

You can use the wet wipes, just trash them instead of flushing! Same for tampons. Get a trashcan with a lid if you have a dog. Or really it’s just a better option regardless but definitely if you have a dog. 🤢

"My Pet Peed" is the best pet potty product I have ever found. It's an amazing stain and odor remover. You can use it on everything. Mattress stains, blood, clothes, pillows, etc. Spray on and leave. I typically go back over urine or vomit with handheld carpet cleaner after about 24 hours.

Wish we had just had a couple of acres. It would be so much easier to handle. I live in Texas and we have 25 acres. On about 23 of those acres we grow hay and sale to farmers/ranchers in our area. I will be glad when we don’t have all this and move to a smaller place.

I’m struggling with depression and anxiety right now and every time I hear you say that you are loved, you matter, it makes me cry, I feel so useless, a waste of space. However every day I say to myself, today is the day the lord has made and I will rejoice and give thanks for it. Depression is a terrible disease. I’v fought with it since I was 40, am 67 now. People that don’t have a problem just don’t understand., if I could MAKE myself feel better, I would have sure. Hugs and prayers for you

I hope you're getting help with your depression. I was diagnosed in my early 30s and started antidepressants. They are not a miracle cure; however, they help. Give yourself grace. You're doing the best you can. I will say that taking antidepressants helps so much as well as getting up and getting dressed. A shower is nice but too much some days. Remember that God loves you just as you are. ❤

Hi lynn. I've used soooo many cleaning products for pets, dogs especially. My absolute favorite is simple green bio dog. I've never found anything so amazing for getting rid of dog urine!! I know people rave about angry orange and i hate it. And its so strong i almost pass out from the fumes. SG bio dog is great, smells light too.
