Lynyrd Skynyrd - Workin' For MCA - Volunteer Jam XIII

Lynyrd Skynyrd reunites at Volunteer Jam XIII, ten years after the tragic plane crash which claimed the lives of both pilots, guitar player Steve Gaines, his sister Cassie (one of the Honkettes), roadie Dean Kilpatrick and lead singer, Ronnie Van Zant. This is the first time the survivors performed as Lynyrd Skynyrd since the reunited at Volunteer Jam V and performed "Call Me The Breeze" and an instrumental of "Freebird."

+Robert Blumenthal I bet. He was such a great guitar player. What a tragedy. They were such a great band. Billy was a fantastic piano player, classically trained and very underrated. Gary was also one of the better guitar players also. What a loss. At least they left us with some great music. I am not sure if I like having a band running around out there calling themselves Lynrd Skynrd when there is only one, maybe two original members left. I mean I realize they are always aware and thinking about the original members but it still just doesn't seem right. I have spoken to some young kids who like LS and they do not even realize that there was a plane crash. However, I am glad they are keeping the music alive.
