I got this for Christmas and the lights would occasionally just turn off for about 30 seconds, thankfully a software update fixed this. However it quit working completely last week, currently working with Lytmi for a replacement.

I have the fancy led 2.1 kit and I have no complaints. Where I have an avr receiver means the single input is fine as that goes between the avr and tv meaning my 4k player, mac book and ps5 or anything else I run will work with it. My only complaint is is it took about 8 days to arrive.

Do any of the products have accurate white balance? I have the Govee Sync box and the LEDs come off as purple when the image is white. Also, on my Govee, whenever i switch between apps, it'll set off very bright lights where it rotate between colors. This is super annoying. Do any of the other products do that?

I bought the Lytmi neo PRO recently (the new one) and it’s flickering for some reason whenever I use my PC. How to mitigate this? My tv supports 120hz with VRR.

Good question, nothing obvious on the unit but any purchased after the beginning of February 2024 should be the new one if you owe an Xbox test with netflix if the picture keeps blacking out that's the old box

Philips Hue doesn't support HDMI 2.1 which is what the latest consoles support but Philips Hue has a bigger ecosystem of products that sync with the lights.

One of the biggest question I have about the pro version is if its supporting the Game mode on a Samsung tv. The standard version was interfering with that and kept the screen black.

No standard dolby vision right? Also, it cant be synced to standard E27 hue bulbs, right? This is a must for me, to repurpose existing Ambilight+Hue on a TV without it, so I guess Im still waiting for Philips Box V2....

Dolby vision and Dolby vision for gaming is supported. It's a Tuya based product which can't sync with Philips Hue Lights.

Got my fantasy 3 today extremely difficult setting up worked in sync mode for a few minutes now instead of syncing to tv the lights stay on bright white.... Lytmi support is terrible emails only they need phone support

I also have this box but with Samsung TVs there is one huge problem and that is the INPUT SIGNAL PLUS on HDMI which opens up the possibilities of 4K - 120 / HDR / VRR and ALLM because both Fancy and Lytmi have a problem with INPUT SIGNAL PLUS and cause problems it hasn't been fixed yet I will run out of new SWITCH which I will try to bridge as PHILPS HUE in your video last hopefully it will help me and I will be happy ! :)

Both sync boxes are very similar but I feel this one has a the edge as it has saturation level settings available and hdmi 3 ports for future expansion if you buy other devices.

I can't comment on the Ambilight TV but in the Fancy LED's review I've got some comparison footage comparing with the Philips Hue Sync I'd say it does a pretty good job.

Is there anything this box can do better or features than the FancyLEDS? With that being said which brand would you recommend? Main difference is an option that allows for the the saturation to be adjusted on Lytmi something not on Fancy LEDS.

But in the video you clearly show you can switch by turning on said device and when turned off lights turn off which makes me think cec is involved.. is it purely hdmi activation registering or did you do something to make these syncs

@xVENDEADAx you may want to contact them to double check. I'm not using CEC it's actually working off the hdmi signal, if there is no signal the lights just turn off, it's actually been working quite well like this 👌

Don't buy this thing. I got it because I didn't want to wait for Govee to catch up with HDMI 2.1. This sync box does NOT sync the LEDs to the image. The LEDs jump colors about .25-.50 seconds faster than the image, so it looks very disorienting with real world content. It becomes just a bunch of random light "noise" firing off behind your TV. I sent video proof of this to Lytmi support, and all they said was "Our technical team is developing a time adjustment option, but it will take some time to finish the test and open for everyone." So in other words, they are selling sync box that doesn’t sync! Ridiculous that it fails at it's basic function, especially for the price.
