So this started off as a tribute to the series, but I ended up having more Merlin/Arthur footage than of any other characters, so it became just a focus on these two.
If you haven't watched the show, it's on Netflix, and it killed me.(I didn't heed the warnings, guys, I'm so dumb.) It's super light-hearted and sort of ridiculous, up until the last few episodes. If you like Once Upon a Time or similar shows, I'd give it a shot!

and I believe the actor actually said it because it was in the script (and cut out in post-production). It makes soooo much more sense, their journey together for Avalon, Arthur slowly realising what Merlin has done for him and Camelot over the years while on that final journey and the simple fact that *'thank you'* surely wasn't the phrase he never said to him before. ofc, he did, several times (not nearly often enough) but he certainly never told Merlin before that he loved him.

I find myself circling back to fandom videos like this one every two years or so. It makes me wonder if I’ll be in my 40s one day, watching videos like this to relive the nostalgia. It makes me wonder how these writers and actors and directors have created something which has resonated so much with me and others that even when we’ve grown apart from the show or book, we hold it as a precious thing to remind us how to feel...how we felt.

I think there is a very good chance with that and 'Merlin'. Additionally, I found myself very curious about everything Colin did since 'Merlin' ended. He didn't disappoint. On the contrary, his work since then is amazing. OMG, I sound like I'm totally batty for him. Maybe I am.

I thought I had found every Merlin video I’d ever need for my feelings, compiled the perfect list of favourite edits, but I was so wrong. This video is EVERYTHING. I’ve always wanted to see a Merlin video to Light (I love Sleeping At Last so much), but never expected to find one, let alone a masterpiece like this!! The voice overs, the perfect progression through Merlin and Arthur’s relationship, the balance of light and happy scenes with meaningful and emotional scenes, altogether managing to show the entire essence of Merlin and Arthur’s relationship in only 4 minutes. This is truly incredible.

The adventures of Merlin is the best tv-series ever produced. Merlin and Arthur are my favorite characters of all time. The lyrics of this song express an immense sense of responsibility and love.
