Nice review, I really appreciate the musical insights. Yes, we all want to see these guys live! Even less likely for us here in the USA, they are just barely getting a little airplay and most Americans are clueless about them. If they ever come here, I will do all I can to get a ticket including flying wherever. The more I see the more I want! Well at least it’s a healthier addiction!

Ciao è un piacere rivederti. mi dispiace per i biglietti. Hai ragione, i Maneskin ormai sono talmente grandi che servono stadi non palazzetti. Forse non se lo aspettavano neppure loro. Comunque non ti rimane che venire a Roma, al Circo Massimo ci sono rimasti 785 posti liberi. Lo spazio contiene 80.000 persone. Ti aspettiamo a Roma, dove è iniziata la loro avventura! Ciao

@@ivanrossi2051 they did not yet know their capacity to fill large stadiums. in my opinion they took the temperature and it is better to sell everything quickly than to have tickets that do not sell, and even booking 2 concerts in the same hall is risky too .. it is very smart. Now they know, we know, everyone knows they can do it! the next tour will be insaaaaaaaane!

Dear Rachel, it's always a pleasure watching your reactions because of your smart comments. About "better version" I can only say that I'm always in a difficult position with covers... I usually like originals better then covers although I love well done covers, which is a very hard thing to do. eg. "The Sound of Silence" that was rediscovered after Disturbed. I still prefer the original because of its mood, so to speak, what it meant back then and what it means now. Same here, "Bury a Friend" it's perfect the way it is; dark musically and lyrically, even though Måneskin rearranged it to fit their style and did a very decent job 👏 Just still prefer the original. The only song I basically like ALL the covers of but the original is "Mad World" 😬 I don't know what is it but still... That's it, have a lovely day! ☀🇮🇹🎶 ps: so sad you didn't have the chance to buy a ticket 😔

Hi, Rachel! I'm in the same situation, I tried booking the tickets by logging in an hour before the release, but they completely vanished in minutes. And I'm very sore about it, because it's obvious scalpers got a big bunch of them (the tickets were put on sale for hundreds of pounds on unofficial sites right away) that this is also a damage to the band. And who knows, maybe they couldn't get the Arena, maybe they weren't confident they'd fill it up for some reason (I know they're popular in the UK, but not so much as in the rest of Europe, it seems), or maybe there was some other thinking behind. Also, I have to say I'd love to see them in a smaller venue, because they have such a direct touch with their audience, and good performing skills... Anyway, I'm considering to buy tickets for Circo Massimo next June, but that's so huge...

Superior to the original? Well, I guess it depends on your criteria. If Måneskin had put that on an album as own work, it would have barely raised a ripple - as a better than serviceable rock song, with catchy hooks. Meanwhile Billie's original made people sit up and take notice. AFAIK gothic minimalism had not been done before. Billie shocked ppl with 'I wanna end me', but that lyric, in the context of a heavy rock song? Soup de jour.

You have a good point. I guess I meant it more from a perspective of personal taste, I prefer hearing the song played on natural instruments instead of computer generated ones/vocal processing. I still like the original though :)
