In general there are blue steel and white steel blades and your choice will be determined by how often you use it and how much you are willing to spend on it. Deba's in general are for right hander use. Left hand debas are rare and need to be ordered. The length of the blade can be actually much smaller than the fish coz you will fillet the fish on one side, then flip the fish and fillet the other side. So a 15cm blade can actually be used on a 28-30cm fish. The type of forging is also another factor for cost, those with multiple folds and hammered repeatedly would generally cost more.
