If you go further outside Merida city limits you may be able to find something like that! But Mexico is huge and there are so many other areas to explore that kind of living. Chiapas is known for its mountains and waterfalls

@@TheMerryMisadventuresFamily Thank you! Do the owners seem to be on time for appointments, or do you mainly meet the agents instead. Otherwise, It could be a lot of driving around, waiting and wasting gas money.

@@tracylindsey4199 the agents usually meet with you until the contracts need to be signed. Occasionally the owner will accompany the agents during the property viewing. We’ve never had issues with them being on time

Many people that we know do this! It can be tiring but it’s possible. It will be easier for you to come in and out if you apply for temporary residency rather than just be on tourist visas

@@TheMerryMisadventuresFamily I often leave the truck in Chicago and fly round trip to Florida and back, so after watching your and others videos I was like damm and it's way cheaper over there, gotta do my homework.
